Our K-12th grade Religious Education program introduces and fosters in children and youth a loving relationship with God. Its purpose is to support parents in instructing their children in the fundamental articles of their Catholic faith, to make them aware of the rich history and Tradition of Roman Catholic Christianity, to open to them the wisdom and truth of the Bible, to help them learn to mak

e moral decisions following the teachings of Jesus Christ and the guidance of His Church, to encourage their participation in the rich liturgical tradition of our Church, to enrich their prayer practices and provide opportunities to serve the community. This is done primarily through classes each Sunday September through May at an age-appropriate level and in a respectful and supportive environment. These classes are taught by dedicated volunteer catechists who share their own faith journey and are in compliance with the LA Archdiocesan mandated Safeguard the Children and Youth programs such as fingerprinting and VIRTUS training.
