Matthew parish is in the Diocese of Los Angeles and the West of the North American Archdiocese of the Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East, one of the Great Churches of the Orthodox Church. We are in communion with the Great Churches of Constantinople, Alexandria, Jerusalem, Moscow, Athens and the other Orthodox Territorial Churches.

Every year after the Dormition fast, the ladies of St. Matthew have been getting together to celebrate the feast in the front yard under the string lights and eventually we started calling it The Night Under the Stars. This year was extra special because we were also celebrating a bride to be and it was such a beautiful evening of fellowship. May the Most Holy Theotokos always intercede for us!
