Today’s theme, “Functioning With Self Control,” shows that through the grace of Jesus Christ, self-control is a quality we can develop as we say no to ungodly desires and choose lives that honor God. Practicing self-control protects us, brings stability, strengthens our prayers, and helps us grow into mature and faithful followers of Christ. As we keep our minds alert and our hope fixed on Jesus, He empowers us to resist temptation, stand firm in faith, and walk obediently with God.

Days one and two of our missions trip in Guatemala… already amazing!! 22 of us from Baycities South Bay came to Guatemala to build a house for a needy family.
We put together 250 food bags for 2 villages today after church this morning! Tomorrow is our first day of construction! Stay tuned!!
