Our Scriptural Prayer for today, Oct 25, 2026.

"With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You."
Psalms 119:10‭-‬11 NKJV

Father God, as King David prayed, may we also seek after You by reading Your Word. After reading Your Word, please teach us to meditate on it until it became ingrained in our minds and our hearts. Help us to put into practice what we learn from You. In doing this, Your Word became a part of us and our defense against any sin and the devil. It becomes our strength when we are weak.
It becomes our guide when we are lost.

Lord, as we continue to seek You, please reveal more of Yourself to us that we may know You more and learn to love You more.

Lord Jesus, serving You comes with Your blessings. You said that the essential things that we need will all be provided. You will even protect us from any sickness and promise to guide us every day of our lives.

Lord, we want to serve You not for the blessings but because this is our way of expressing our love and gratitude to You. This is our act of worship unto You.

May we find great delight in serving our King of Kings and our Lord of Lords.

Lord Jesus, if we want to live a blessed life, we must walk steadily on the path where You are leading us. We must follow the direction where we can find You.

May we learn to seek You diligently with all our hearts and to walk with You daily in our lives. May we always follow Your leading for You are our Good Shepherd.

Lord Jesus, the world considers prayer a waste of time. But for us who believe in You, it is a privilege to open up our hearts and lay down all our burdens before You. It is also a time of thanking You for everything You have done and still doing for us. Prayer is an intimate conversation between You and us. When we talk, You listen and when You talk, we must listen.

Lord God, we believe that You can hear every word that we utter, every word when we cry, even our silent whispers when we are hopeless.

Thank you very much for listening. We believe that You will answer our petitions, our requests in Your perfect timing according to Your will.

Our Scriptural Prayer for today, Oct 20, 2026.

"Can an Ethiopian change the color of his skin? Can a leopard take away its spots? Neither can you start doing good, for you have always done evil."
Jeremiah 13:23 NLT

Father God, Your prophet Jeremiah used the indelible characteristics of an Ethiopian's skin and a leopard's spots as a metaphor for the deep-seated inability of the people of Judah to turn from their wickedness.

After the fall of Adam and Eve, sinfulness becomes a natural and habitual part of every man. It means it is impossible for people to change their evil ways on their own without Your divine intervention. A person accustomed to evil cannot simply choose to do good neither no man can be changed by anyone. It is because we were all born sinners.

When Your Son Jesus died on the cross, He overcame the power of sin and evil. With His victory, even the most notorious criminal can be changed into a better person.

Thank you Lord Jesus for Your sacrifice on the cross. It gives hope to the unchangeable sinful nature of man. Change us from the inside out. Transform us into a better person worthy to be called Your people.

Our Scriptural Prayer for today, Oct 19, 2026.

"This is what the Lord says: “Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom, or the powerful boast in their power, or the rich boast in their riches. But those who wish to boast should boast in this alone: that they truly know Me and understand that I am the Lord who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth, and that I delight in these things. I, the Lord, have spoken!"

Father God, man normally boasts of his wisdom, strength and riches. These things give him happiness and satisfaction. You know that man will always look for his own glory.
You used Your prophet Jeremiah to convey that the greatest goal in life is to know You and that true boasting comes from understanding and knowing You.

Lord God, remind us always that the greatest glory, the highest aspiration, and the greatest exultation are fulfilled only by understanding and knowing You personally.
You deserve all the honor, power and glory because living is all about You.

Our Scriptural Prayer for today, Oct 18, 2026.

"Eat honey, my son, for it is good; honey from the comb is sweet to your taste. Know also that wisdom is like honey for you: If you find it, there is a future hope for you."
Proverbs 24:13‭-‬14 NIV

Father God, when You asked King Solomon what he wanted, he chose wisdom rather than the riches of this world.

On this proverb, he used the analogy of honey to encourage the pursuit of godly wisdom. He said that just like honey is good for us and sweet to our taste, so also is wisdom for our soul. This connects the physical goodness of honey to the spiritual goodness of wisdom, showing that wisdom provides a future and lasting hope.

King Solomon wanted to emphasize that wisdom is spiritually sweet to our souls. It satisfies and benefits our deepest parts. He was referring to the practical and moral knowledge found by following Your principles.

Lord, may we realize that living for this world may seem great at first but in the end it is bitter. We may have things now, we may have pleasures now but it will not last.

Let wisdom protect us from living for a hope that is only temporary. Let wisdom lead us to the right path of life by walking with You forever.
