Our Scriptural Prayer for today, June 03, 2026.

"As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated. The Ammonites and Moabites rose up against the men from Mount Seir to destroy and annihilate them. After they finished slaughtering the men from Seir, they helped to destroy one another."

Father God, when King Jehoshaphat of Judah faced a massive, overwhelming invading army, instead of relying on traditional military strategy, he sent out a choir to sing and praise You. As the people praised, You intervened and caused the armies of Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir to turn on and destroy one another.

Father, we are on spiritual battles and one way to defeat the evil spirits is by simply singing praise songs to You. Our enemies are easily defeated because these battles belong to You.

Our Scriptural Prayer for today, June 02, 2026.

No,” said Peter, “You shall never wash my feet.”
Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part in Me."
John 13:8 NIV
New International Version

Lord Jesus, when You began washing Your disciples' feet as an ultimate act of humility and service, Peter initially rejected this. He thought it is an undignified act for You, being their Master. You told him he wouldn't be a part of You if he will not allow such act.

Lord, You wanted to explain not just physical cleansing but about spiritual cleansing of sin. Submission to Your spiritual cleansing is a requirement to have fellowship with You.
You also wanted to tell us that we cannot save or cleanse ourselves. We must humbly accept Your sacrifice and service rather than trying to earn our own way to You. As we acknowledge that we are sinners, continue cleansing our spirits with Your forgiveness.
In Your Name Lord Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Father God, earlier in the life of King Asa, he relied on You most of the time and won major victories. But in a later crisis, he relied on a military alliance with Syria instead of You. Because King Asa stopped trusting You, Hanani told him that he acted foolishly and would face ongoing wars.

Father, You actively and continously searching the earth, observing, caring, and looking for those who are completely loyal to You. This is the reason why we cannot hide anything from You. You know the very condition of every heart because You are an omniscient God, an all-knowing Deity, possessing complete and infinite awareness of everything that has happened, is happening, and will ever happen.
You always desire to pour out Your power and strength to support those who love You wholeheartedly.

"Judah turned and saw that they were being attacked at both front and rear. Then they cried out to the Lord. The priests blew their trumpets and the men of Judah raised the battle cry. At the sound of their battle cry, God routed Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah. The Israelites fled before Judah, and God delivered them into their hands."

Father God, when King Jeroboam and his 800,000 fighting men attacked Judah's King Abijah and his 400,000 men both front and rear, You came to help them by crushing Israel’s forces and granting Judah a decisive victory.

Father, there will always be battles in our lives but You will always be there to rescue us and give us victory. You are the mighty warrior who fights on our behalf because You are Jehovah Sabaoth, the Lord of Hosts.

When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face.
Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”

Lord Jesus, when You arrived at Bethany, You found out that Lazarus was in the tomb for four days already. You went with Martha and Mary to the place where they buried him. Then You instructed the people to roll the stone laid at the entrance. After You said a prayer to the Father, You commanded Lazarus to come forth. Then the dead man Lazarus went out of the place alive. You told the people to take off the burial clothes from him.

Lord, You wanted to show us that the removal of the stone and the taking off of the burial cloths symbolize You delivering believers from the "death" of sin and spiritual darkness, calling them into new life.

We believe that even today, You continue to call out the dead in spirit to come forth so they will live with a born- again spirit. We only have to believe in Your finished work on the cross and accept You as our personal Lord and Savior, in order to be alive.
Truly, You are the Resurrection and the Life and anyone who believes in You will live forever.

Our Scriptural Prayer for today, May 29, 2026.

Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours of daylight? Anyone who walks in the daytime will not stumble, for they see by this world’s light. It is when a person walks at night that they stumble, for they have no light.”
John 11:9-10 NIV

Lord Jesus, when Your disciples tried to warned You not to go back to Judea because of the possibility of being stoned by the people, You used the metaphor of daylight and darkness. You wanted to tell them that You are safe and protected by Father God. You were saying that as long as they are walking in God's will and timing, they can move forward fearlessly without stumbling.

Lord, walking in the light represents Your guidance and protection while walking in the night means acting out of Your will.

Thank you for reminding us that if we are walking according to Your will, no one could ever stop us. As long as You are with us, we will always be walking in the light because You are the "true light" who came into this world.

Lord Jesus, during Your confrontation with the religious leaders in the temple, You told them that they refuse to believe despite witnessing the miracles You did in the Father's name. They don't believe You because they don't belong to Your flock. You told them that only true believers in You can hear and recognize Your voice. Your flock follows You where You lead them. That is why eternal life awaits those who remain in Your flock.

Lord, we thank You, for choosing us to be part of Your flock. Thank You, for the love and care You have for us, Your flock of sheep, for You are our Good Shepherd.

Lord Jesus, You speak of Yourself as the gate. The Greek word You used was " Thura," meaning " The Door."

You are "The Door" for Your sheep, for Your people, to come in for shelter and security. You are "The Door" to get to Father God. You are "The Door" to eternity.

Lord, thank you for being "The Door" for us. It means You are the only one who could bring us to the Father. There is no other way but through You.

Father God, when King David presented to the whole Israel his plan of building the temple for the Ark of the Covenant, they willingly gave everything they can offer. This made King David so happy and acknowledged that everything they have comes from You. That is why it is but right to give them back to You.

Lord, we thank You, for reminding us that nothing that we possess, wealth, time, talent, or even life itself, truly belongs to us. We are simply "stewards" or caretakers of Your resources. Therefore, whether charitable or faithful giving, it is simply returning to You what You have graciously provided for us.
