(Third Order Regular) of Penance of the Sorrowful Mother, follow the contemplative-active way of life of our founder, St. Our Mission in the world is to make known God's merciful love as consecrated contemplatives comitted to prayer, penance, and works of mercy. Our mission is made tangible by our ministry among the poor, the sick and those in need of the good news of the Gospel through various works of evangelization. We seek to witness to the infinite love of God the Father and to Christ's spousal love for His Bride, the Church, as we stand with Mary, our Mother, at the foot of the Cross to intercede for the needs of the world. Our life is centered on the Gift of the Eucharist, Holy Mass and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the Liturgy of the Hours, the prayer of the Rosary, and devotion to Divine Mercy.

"Called by the Father of Mercy to stand with our Sorrowful Mother at the foot of the cross of Jesus, our Crucified Spouse, we receive the merciful love flowing from His pierced heart and are transformed by the Holy Spirit into vessels of mercy for others." Constitutions 2

On this feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, we are filled with gratitude to have such Mother! What a privilege it is to be with Our Lady at the foot of the Cross!

Our new postulants, Abby and Isabella, received their postulant garb! Fr. Pat Whittle, TOR, blessed their Tau Crosses. He beautifully explained the significance of the Tau Cross for St. Francis, drawing on the reading from Ezekiel 9-10. May we all be ever more conformed to the Cross of Christ!
