To be a father.

To run a race for those who have yet to run.
To work, sweat, bear burdens, teach, train and be an example for those walking in the foot falls you have left.
To protect from the seen and unseen things hiding in the shadows.
To fix the broken cherished thing while building the promised new wanted surprise.
To pray for, care for, love, defend, guide, guard, and train the precious ones trailing behind.
To be a light and example of the perfect Heavenly Father, and point them to Him at every opportunity you can.
That is the honor of being a father.

Happy Mother’s Day to you wonderful ladies that have given your life to bring life into this world. To nurture that life. Train that life. Heal that life. Love that life. Prepare that life to face this world and eternity. You all are amazing. Don’t forget Topsham Ladies, we are celebrating you today with a bit of a tea party at 9:30.
