First Christian Church Child Care Center First Christian Church Child Care Center was founded in 1973 as a community outreach ministry of First Christian Church. Our hours of operation are 7:15 a.m.

We are licensed through the Kansas Department of Health and Environment to serve children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. We have 7 early learning classrooms, 2 school age classrooms, and 4 seperate outside play areas. to 5:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, 12 months a year. We believe that early education should excite curiosity, stimulate creativity, expand intellectual and motor skills, create awarenes

s, and help each child better understand himself and the world around. This kind of education does not require sitting still with pencil and paper - it "happens" everywhere. Spontaneous learning takes place through free and guided play and interactions with others. Our program provides a secure yet flexible schedule of free play, both inside and out, planned group and individual activities, art, music, science, language development, number concepts, physical development, quiet periods, and meal times.

We had an amazing day on Thursday of red, white, and blue fun here at FCCCCC! Our kiddos enjoyed classroom parties, colorful chalk decorations, and a super‑spirited parade that brought all the excitement of America’s 250th Birthday to life. 🇺🇸✨

🎉 Our 4th of July Parade is happening Thursday, July 2nd at 3:15 PM. Due to the heat, our parade will go along our normal route, then enter back inside to enjoy cupcakes in celebration of America's 250th Birthday.
⏰ We will be closing at 4:00 PM on July 2nd following the parade.
🛑 Closed Friday, July 3rd in observance of Independence Day.

We had such a fun and egg-citing time celebrating Easter with our kiddos at the childcare center! From festive activities to lots of smiles and laughter, it was a day full of joy and excitement. 🐰🌷🥚
