Hi Everyone, our ministry trip in Pingtung, Taiwan was again very fruitful. I spoke at a Christmas program at the Church in Pingtung that hosted us and 35 people attending responded to the message of Salvation through Jesus Christ accepting Christ into their lives! At several other meetings during our 2 months in Taiwan many people came forward for prayer after my messages. I was amazed at the number coming forward for prayer. It occured to me that I spent more time praying for everyone after my message than the actual time it took to share my message! I am also pleased to report that the weekly prayer meeting that we helped this local Church start back in May of 2023 was still going strong. When we left in May of 2023 there were 30-40 people attending and when we returned Nov 2023 the attendance remained the same. I really felt an increase of God's presence moving in this church during our recent visit Nov 14 - Jan 14, 2024 which testifies that PRAYER changes the atmosphere!!!
So another God - story that I wanted to share is that the Lee Family that we have been partnering with in our recent trips to Taiwan shocked me saying that God has called them as a family to a season living and serving in the Solomon Islands! So Joseph & Joanna and their three girls Airiana, Alisa, and Samantha flew from Taiwan directly to the Solomon Islands in January of 2024 soon after Grace and I left Taiwan! Now they (the Lee family) reside at the same YWAM Base in Honiara that we served! Joseph is doing the YWAM Discipleship Training School which started in the beginning of Febuaray. So for me it's just so amazing to see them take a leap of faith and leave the comforts of America to live as a young family at this YWAM base in the Solomon Islands! Please join me in praying for them!
So in 2023 our Clean Water 4 Life water well ministry continued sinking FREE wells. in fact last year our CW4L ministry provided 133 sponsored wells! Our teams are trusting God will continue to supply the funding needed so that our ministry can continue sinking hundres more wells in 2024. I'm so thankful for the people who continue to pray and send monthly recurring gifts for more sponsored wells! Each sponsored well which includes the hand pump costs $3,000.00 usd. We have partners who give $500.00 monthly! Some give $100.00 monthly! Some $50.00 monthly. I'm asking you to consider giving $70.00 monthly or even a one time gift of $70.00 in honor of my 70th birthday which is on April 2, 2024! What a BIG blessing it is when we can provide a school, clinic, or a village with a source of clean drinking water! So pray about my 70th birthday wish okay? Let's keep our water well program going strong in 2024!

I'll end with a few photo's and reports for wells sponsored that are impacting many lives!
#1 is a sponsored well at Fote Community was established in the 1950s first by some local Catholic missionaries and later members of the Anglican Church from the same tribe joined the community and established a local branch of the Anglican Church. Fote Catholic Community has a population of about 200 members and is growing. It is located in Ward 4 of Malaita Province on the main road to Malu'u town North Malaita about 20Km north of Auki.
Fote has a river flowing close by, however, the river goes dry during long dry spells and the water, most of the time, is not fit for family use. This was the problem which plagued the community since its establishment. Water tanks were provided by the government but these did not solve the problem. The well constructed by Clean Water 4 Life resolved their clean drinking water issue and the community has been encouraged to look into ways of further improving the pumping system.
#2 sponsored well is The Fote Anglican Congregation shares the Fote community with the Fote Catholic Congregation from the beginning since the 1950s. The water issue of the community is similar to that of the Catholic congregation. The population of the Anglican community is around 300 hence the need for a second well in one community. Both of these wells were constructed and completed in 2023, and leaders of the community asked that their gratitude for the gift of this well be conveyed to the sponsors of their new wells!
#3 sponsored well is for Folotana SSEC Church & Community located in Ward 6 of Malaita Province. Folotana was established in the early 60s, however its water problem started with the community and remains to this day. Folotana is one of the bigger communities in West Baelelea with a population of several hundred people.
The well constructed by Clean Water 4 Life has resolved the water issue! This well was completed in 2023. Leadership of the community was truly thankful for the well and asked me convey their gratitude to the sponsors of this new well.
