In 2012, I wrote in my book, "We can be assured based on God’s Word the sorrowful Jerusalem disaster will truly come to pass, when the prophetic counting periods will begin… With the devastation in Jerusalem, daily worship at the Western Wall and Temple Mount will be taken away, which will also coincide to some degree with the prophetic war foretold in Daniel 8 between Iran (Persia/Elam) and the West [with the notable horn: America]… The Kingdom Calendar shows that the taking away of the daily occurs at Purim/Shushan Purim [this year, arriving at March 3-4, 2026],” (Insights in Prophecy, Kevin R. Swift, 2012; updated 2020, p. 19. 37)

The books of Daniel and Revelation predict end-time catastrophes and global upheaval, which is confirmed by Jesus in the Gospel accounts; but, many questions remain. How close are we to the appointed time written about by the Hebrew prophets? Are we the last generation? How will the ancient last-...

Q: What do you believe is the purpose for what seems a very long delay in the return of Messiah and His promised Kingdom? 🥹 Jesus said, “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” Rev 22:12-13. What did He mean?

FREE PROPHECY LESSONS at www.focusontheprophecies.org
It's my opinion that as we study Bible prophecy, we should apply the long-recognized principle of Biblical study—of looking first to the "literal-straightforward" meaning before turning to any "interpretive-figurative"
explanation. At www.focusontheprophecies.org the five prophetic time periods found in the book of Daniel will be considered 24-hour days, for that is exactly what the original Hebrew word “yom” means, and how the early church would have understood them. These include the 70 weeks (490 days) of Daniel 9:24; 2,300 evenings and mornings (1,150 days) of 8:14; the time, times and half (1,260 days) of 7:25 and 12:7; and the 1,290 days and 1,335 days of Daniel 12:11, 12.
Although they seem ancient, these prophetic periods and the events surrounding them are given to help us make real life decisions as end-time events unfold. They represent counting periods for the last-day believers,
so we can know where we are in time; and that we, by faith, might hold onto Jesus all the way to the end during this very difficult period in human history. This involves persistence and stamina, as we wait for our LORD’s triumphant revelation in the sky (Psalm 37:7-11; Revelation 13:10; 14:12).
The five periods in the book of Daniel, combined with the 1,260 day period repeated five times in the book of Revelation (11:2; 11:3; 12:6, 12:14 and 13:5), create a last-day Calendar of events that is packed full of insight. The events of both Daniel and Revelation are collected and merged
into one overarching presentation of the future. From this emerges The Kingdom Calendar that combines all these time periods into an end-time counting chart of the last days, which lines up between the Festivals to prove both its authenticity and reliability.

I wonder what we might discover if Gabriel actually told the truth by stating “seventy weeks” are set apart for Jerusalem and his people to finalize the sin problem? Daniel knew the difference between “seventy years” (Daniel 9:2) and “seventy weeks” (v. 24). Gabriel did too. Maybe, just maybe, it’s literal and is fulfilled at the end, because if the Word is true then God “does not lie”, while men impose, twist and contrive (Numbers 23:19). But when a view is held for decades, the clearest of language is dismissed and ideology rules. "Let God be true and every man a liar" (Romans 3:4).

"Jesus left the temple and was walking away when His disciples came up to Him to call His attention to its buildings. “Do you see all these things?” He said. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down." His disciples asked, "What will be the sign of Your coming and the end of the age?" "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains,” Matthew 24:1-3, 6-8.

"I do not wish to sow fear, but we are living in a tectonically active period,” said Prof. Shmuel Marco, the head of the research group.
