Bring your kids to church, even if it looks like this.

One day she’ll sit quietly through the entire service.

One day she won’t need snacks, coloring books, or to be carried out halfway through.

One day she’ll be grown.

I’d rather have a child who grew up in church than a child who only started attending once she was old enough to act like an adult.

If that means some Sundays look messy, then they look messy.

If your toddler spends more time under the church chairs than in the church chair… you’re probably doing just fine. 😂

Keep bringing them.

They may wiggle, crawl under chairs, drop snacks, ask questions at the wrong time, or need to be carried out more than once. But they are learning something important: that church is where we gather, worship, and belong ❤️

“Are you ready?” People ask this question when something big is coming up in our lives. A competition. A medical procedure. A big project at work or at school. A vacation. It is important to prepare for all those events.
How much more important it is to prepare to live our everyday Christian lives, to be prepared to face persecution, false teachings, and other hardships in life, and to be ready for when our time comes to depart this life. How can you prepare for all that? God's Word makes us ready and keeps us ready for all of that. This Sunday we hear how the Lord blesses his Ministry even when his Church faces persecution.
