As we continue our Pride celebration in worship this Sunday, we’ll remember that the Spirit urges us to widen our circles to include everyone. The focus text is Acts 8:26-40. Read this remarkable story about the Ethiopian eu**ch who could not be excluded from the Christ community. Pastor Joy will bring a message about the importance of including our trans and nonbinary kindred – in our churches, our friendship circles and our communities. Worship is at 10 am CDT in the Sanctuary, on Facebook Live and YouTube Live.

We've been part of the culture throughout history, so of course, LGBTQ people are represented in scripture. When Jesus encountered a sexual minority, he didn't judge.
