We believe the 66 books of the Holy Bible are the word of God written, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts and thus infallible and authoritative in all that it teaches. We believe that all human beings are created in the image of God, but through the sin of Adam, are now sinners by nature and by choice, alienated from God, under His wrath, and that salvation is by grace alone through trusting in Christ alone. We believe that the true church on earth is comprised of all those who have been regenerated and justified by God's grace. We believe that all those who have been saved by God's grace are called to glorify Him through a life of grateful, loving, costly obedience and humble service to others. We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the lost, the saved to eternal life and the lost to damnation.

My thoughts this evening. And this one hits home for me. Where do you draw the line between faith and medicine. Cancer? How about diabetes? Broken bones? Bad eyesight, glaucoma? Where do you draw the line of faith and medical science, when do you say ok I need medicine or treatment and does that betray a lack of faith? I’be been praying about this one a lot lately with some medical issue of my own that have crept up on me and wanna know what you think.

My husband normally is the one who does the “my thoughts for today “. Well here is mine….Love, everyone says oh I love him/her. Well what most people don’t understand is love is more than words. Love is action. Love is a choice. When you love them you do the small things like going to the grocery and getting their favorite food, snack, drink, ect.,. Taking time to help with the house cleaning or yard work. Or maybe that extra two minutes to say have a good day, be safe, hope you’re day is wonderful or whatever fits the moment. Or here’s the big one…taking a moment to communicate if there’s a problem and try to fix it together. Not just giving up. Now think about this. When you’re feeling down or struggling and you hear someone say God loves you, take time to really think about it. He gave His only son to be beaten, whipped, persecuted, scorned, mocked, and killed to save you. He is never late and always on time. No matter what you do or say He will always be there to love, forgive and wait with open arms for you. 1 Corinthians 13 read it people and take time to actually hear it.

I pray each of you receive the spiritual blessings you need and are able to be the love someone might need today.

Just wanted to say I had a great visit today with Shiloh Baptist Church of Mesquite and it was a pleasure to worship with the two pastors who ordained me into the ministry. Don Ivey and my good friend Thomas Stephens. One day I’ll actually get to hear Brother Thom preach 😁. I also want to let everyone know that Shiloh has donated several bibles for us to distribute and many have asked about us getting a Bible to you. Please message us and we can deliver them to you. Just have to say that the visit today was a welcomed encouragement. God Bless and God speed.

God has given each of us a job, position, resources, education and more. God has opened opportunities to bring His Gospel to the entire world. He didn’t place you or me where we are so we could drink soda and eat chips all day long or post pictures on social media. He’s placed us wherever we are because we are in the midst of a battle, a war. You and I are in the midst of a seismic conflict involving good versus evil. He placed you right where you are for such a time as this. We need to shine the light and love of Christ not only on Cedar Creek Lake, but the entire world.
