Last night, we had great family time with a purchase I made from Amazon. The investment was for a 10-person tent to accommodate myself, my girlfriend, and my 9-year-old son. It may seem insignificant to most, but God provides everything we need, and this is what we needed. It was a night spent under the stars with my family, and we talked about God and watched House of David on Amazon.

Here is a deeper dive into last night's post.

Here is how you can look at your current relationships:

1. Identifying a "Season"

The Feeling: It feels temporary, situational, or context-driven (work, school, a specific project).

The Signs: You only talk when you need something related to that situation. When the situation changes, the friendship fades naturally without much drama.

How to Handle: Enjoy the camaraderie for what it is, but don't force a deeper connection than what the situation allows.

2. Identifying a "Lesson"

The Feeling: It often feels difficult, confusing, or painful. These relationships might trigger insecurity or challenge your boundaries.

The Signs: You feel drained, frustrated, or like you are constantly repeating the same argument or pattern. You learn a lot about what you don't want in life.

How to Handle: Focus on what they are teaching you about yourself rather than focusing on fixing them. Once the lesson is learned, it is often necessary to distance yourself.

3. Identifying a "Blessing"
The Feeling: It feels easy, supportive, and reciprocal. You feel safe and authentic around them.

The Signs: They celebrate your wins without jealousy and support you during failures without judgment. Time spent with them rejuvenates you.

Today I'd like to talk about the 3 reasons people enter your life. Feel free to add your life experiences or thoughts.

Here is a breakdown of how these roles shape your journey:

Season: These people are present for a specific time or purpose, helping you navigate a particular chapter of your life before moving on.

Lesson: These individuals appear to challenge you, forcing growth, teaching you about yourself, or showing you what you do or do not want in life.

Blessing: These are the people who offer love, support, and joy, genuinely making your life better just by being in it.

Good evening,

I want to share a piece of my testimony with you. For a long time after losing my wife, I was in a dark place. I had become a man I didn't recognize—hard, cold, and leaning so heavily into being the 'Head' of the house that I forgot how to lead with love. I thought I just needed a 'CEO' to manage the chaos. I was heading down a path that wasn't good for me or my son.

But my story isn't about how I 'figured it out.' It’s about what God did.

He reached into that dark area and changed my heart. He didn't just give me a partner; He gave our home a 'Heart' again when He brought Gloria into our lives. He showed me that I could still be the protector and the teacher, but that I didn't have to be a fortress of ice. He took a broken, hardened man and restored him.
I share this because I know some of you feel like you’ve lost yourself in the grief. You might feel like you’re becoming someone you don't like. I’m here to witness that God can change that. He can take your 'Tough Love' and your discipline and balance it with grace.

I was lost, but He found me. I was hard, but He softened me. If He did it for me, He can do it for you. Keep your faith, keep your head up.

Brothers and Sisters,

The witness of a restored man

Keep your faith, keep your head up, and keep pedaling.

The "Mother-Father" Awakening (For Fathers & Mothers)

I Was: A provider of "things." I thought as long as the bills were paid and the house was safe, I was doing my job. I didn't know how to "mother"—I didn't think I had it in me.

He Did: When the world went quiet in 2021, God broke my heart for what broke His. He taught me that my son didn't need a "boss," he needed a "bridge." He taught me how to nurture, how to listen, and how to be the soft place for Edward to land.

The Truth: Men, don't be afraid of the "Mother-Heart." It isn't weakness; it’s the ultimate strength. Mothers, if you're carrying the "Father-Strength" alone, He sees you too. He equips us for the gaps we never expected to fill.
