“We can hold evil accountable without becoming what we oppose.”

In response to plans to livestream the ex*****on of the man responsible for the 2009 Fort Hood shooting, the Council of Bishops of The United Methodist Church has issued a pastoral letter calling us to reflect on justice, human dignity, and what it means to follow Jesus.

We grieve for the lives lost, the survivors, and the families who continue to carry the pain of that day. We also remember that our faith calls us to something more than vengeance.

As United Methodists, we believe in the sacred worth of every person, even in the face of unimaginable harm.

Why does Mosaic worship in a school?

For us, the answer is about more than having a place to gather. Meeting in a school has given Mosaic the flexibility to grow, invest in ministry and mission, and keep learning what it means to be the church in our community.

As we prepare for a future home, we’re still asking the same question: how can where we gather help us better love and serve our neighbors?

Because Mosaic has never been defined by an address or a building. It’s defined by people learning to love God and neighbor together.
This is Mosaic.

Join Mosaic for Fall Fest: A Party in the Park on Sunday, Oct 25, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 PM at Russ Poppe Family Park, 11675 Grant Road.

This free community event is open to everyone, with trunk or treat, face painting, crafts, bubbles, a photo opportunity, a candy corn guessing game, and pizza dinner.
