🎒 A Blessing for the School Year ❤️

This Sunday, we celebrated the Blessing of the Backpacks, taking a special moment to pray over our students as they begin a new school year.

As classrooms fill and a new year begins, we continue to hold in prayer all children and young adults returning to school, along with their families, teachers, administrators, and school staff.

May this year be filled with opportunities to learn and grow, new friendships, kindness, courage, and God's guidance along the way.

Whether it's the very first day of Pre-K or the first day of college, we're praying for a safe and wonderful school year for our entire community. 📚✏️🍎

🎶 Choir for a Day 🎶

Last Sunday, members of our congregation had the opportunity to participate in Choir for a Day, joining together to help lead worship through music.

Thank you to everyone who participated and shared your voices with us! It was a wonderful reminder that worship is something we do together, and we're grateful for everyone who helped make the morning so special.

This week in our Youth Sunday School, students explored the story of Noah's Ark in a hands-on way by combining Scripture with a fun STEM activity.

Working together, they designed boats out of aluminum foil and then tested how many pennies each one could hold before sinking. It was a creative way to reinforce the lesson while encouraging teamwork, curiosity, and problem-solving.

At First Presbyterian Church of Tomball, we love creating opportunities for students to grow in their faith through meaningful lessons, engaging activities, and genuine friendships.

Youth Sunday School meets every Sunday at 10:00 AM.

⚓ A little kindness can travel a long way.

First Presbyterian Church of Tomball is collecting items for Seafarers Christmas Boxes benefiting the Houston International Seafarers Center.

These boxes provide useful everyday items and a little encouragement to seafarers spending time far from home. 💙

We're collecting items like toiletries, new socks and T-shirts, snacks, playing cards, headphones, flashlights, and more.

We're excited to introduce our Special Needs Sunday School at First Presbyterian Church of Tomball!

Led by Ms. Danielle, this new ministry is focused on creating a welcoming environment where participants can build friendships, feel at home, and grow in God's love at their own pace.

Every ministry begins with getting to know one another. Over the past few weeks, we've shared conversations, laughter, games, and fellowship as we begin building a community where everyone is valued and everyone belongs.
