This is a blog dedicated to practicing Christians interested in prayer and intercession. We pray for troubled places in various countries and cities. That sometimes means taking unusual steps of faith such as walking around troubled areas or buildings several times while praying and interceding, proclaiming God's peace, , law and order, deliverance, salvation or prosperity on these troubled spots. And hence the name Jericho Intercession.
[Joshua 6: Now the gates of Jericho were securely barred because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in.
2 Then the LORD said to Joshua, “See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. 3 March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. 4 Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. 5 When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in.”]
For example, for large areas we may only circle 3 times or only one time for very large street blocks. Sometimes we just walk straight down the main street while praying. Note they marched around Jericho with the Ark of the Covenant. The Ark represents the power of the Holy Spirit and God's covenant with His people. You can do this on your own or with other members of this group in yours or adjacent neighborhoods. And watch in awe as the Holy Spirit transforms those places. You will be blessed of God as you take on this powerful ministry of faith and intercession and witness those formidable "Jericho" walls and other strongholds come down!. We have seen entire cities transformed though prayer. As a member of Jericho Intercession. you will be a constant in the prayers of others on this site.
