Have you ever tried to help God fulfill a promise He made to you?

That's exactly what happened in Genesis 16.

After years of waiting, Abram and Sarai decided to take a shortcut. It seemed logical. It seemed reasonable. It even appeared to solve the problem. But what followed was conflict, heartache, and consequences they never expected.

In this week's message, we continue our journey through the life of Abram and uncover a powerful lesson that still applies today: God's promises should never be pursued through human wisdom and self-reliance.

When God's timing doesn't match our expectations, the temptation is to take control. But the shortcuts that look easiest often lead us away from God's best.

If you've been waiting on God, struggling with delayed promises, or wondering why things aren't unfolding the way you expected, this message is for you.

⚡ Are You Ready for an "All of a Sudden" From God? ⚡

Throughout Scripture, God's people often experienced sudden moments that changed everything.

A burning bush.
The parting of the Red Sea.
Fire on Mount Sinai.
The outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.

But those "all of a sudden" moments were often preceded by seasons of waiting, preparation, faith, and obedience.

This past Friday, Elder Tom Baur shared a powerful message during our Shavuot celebration on what it means to live with expectation for God's supernatural intervention.

🔥 Are you filled with faith?
🔥 Are you ready for the fire of the Holy Spirit?
🔥 Is there unforgiveness that needs to be released?

One of the key truths from the message was that before we can fully experience God's fire, we must be willing to let go of what we've been carrying—whether it's bitterness toward others or even toward ourselves.

God may be preparing you right now for a breakthrough you never saw coming.

The question is:

Are you ready for an "all of a sudden" from God?

Watch the message and be encouraged to step into greater faith, freedom, and expectancy.

What if your struggle with God is actually part of your relationship with Him?

This past Friday night, we continued through Genesis 15 and uncovered one of the most powerful covenant moments in all of Scripture.

Abraham questioned.
Abraham wrestled.
Abraham protested.
And God responded.

So many believers think faith means never struggling… but Scripture shows us something very different. God invites His people into real relationship — one where we bring our fears, questions, frustrations, and prayers honestly before Him.

In this message:
🔥 Discover why God told Abram, “Do not fear”
🔥 Learn the deeper meaning of covenant
🔥 See how Genesis 15 points directly to Messiah Yeshua
🔥 Understand why passive faith keeps people stuck
🔥 Be encouraged to press into God instead of pulling away

The First War in the Bible Reveals a Terrifying Truth.

In Genesis 14, we see far more than ancient kings fighting battles. We uncover a spiritual pattern that still affects people today:
Compromise → Captivity → Conflict.

Lot looked toward S***m because it looked good… but what began as attraction eventually led to bo***ge.

In this Friday night message, Pastor Matthew Hartman walks line by line through Genesis 14 and explores:
• The danger of compromise
• Why some separations are necessary
• The difference between fleshly ambition and righteous confrontation
• Abram rescuing Lot as a picture of redemption
• Melchizedek, the bread and wine, and the coming Messiah

This teaching is a powerful reminder that what we pursue shapes where we end up.

“Are we learning lessons… or are we still making the same mistakes?”

Sometimes the hardest part of following God… is letting people go.

In Genesis 13, Abram and Lot stood looking at the same land — but with two completely different visions.

One chose what looked good right now.
The other trusted God for something eternal.

This message dives into:
• Returning from “Egypt” spiritually
• Why compromise creates conflict
• The danger of living for immediate gratification
• Learning to see with eyes of faith
• Why some relationships can hinder your calling
• The difference between temporary comfort and eternal purpose

There are moments where obedience requires separation so God can fully reveal what He has promised.

You didn’t fall away… you walked away.

That’s not condemnation—it’s clarity.

This past Sunday, we looked at the life of Abraham and saw something powerful:
God spoke. Abraham obeyed… and then things got hard.

A drought came. The promise didn’t look right.
So he went down to Egypt.

Sound familiar?

Sometimes we think we’re waiting on God…
but the truth is, He already spoke—and we moved in another direction.

The good news?

You can always return.

Not just changing your mind… but going back to the place where you last heard His voice and choosing obedience again.

And sometimes it’s simpler than we make it:

👉 Stop overthinking it.
👉 Stop justifying it.
👉 Just take the next step.

If this speaks to you, take a moment today and ask:
“Lord, where did I step away from You?”

🔥 Tzav: The Fire That Must Never Go Out 🔥

This past Saturday in Treasures Old and New, we explored the Torah portion Tzav (Command)—and it revealed something powerful for our everyday walk with God.

In Leviticus, the Lord commands that the fire on the altar must never go out.

That’s not just for the priests…
that speaks to us.

So how do we keep the fire burning in our lives?

➡️ Through intentional thanksgiving

Scripture tells us:
“In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Messiah Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

That’s not just encouragement—it’s a command.

And here’s the truth:
When you choose to give thanks—especially when life feels heavy—something shifts.

Your perspective changes.
Your heart resets.
The fire begins to burn again. 🔥

💡 Try this this week:
When you feel overwhelmed, stop and say out loud 3–5 things you’re thankful for.

It sounds simple… but it’s powerful.

Let’s keep the fire burning—morning and evening.

Leviticus is one of the most overlooked books in the Bible… but what if it holds the key to a deeper walk with God?

This past Saturday in Treasures Old and New, we stepped into Vayikra (Leviticus 1:1–6:7) and uncovered something powerful:

The word “offering” doesn’t just mean sacrifice—it means to draw near.

God was never just asking for ritual… He was inviting His people into relationship, partnership, and nearness.

It challenges the way we approach our faith today.

Are we just going through the motions… or are we truly drawing near?

If you missed it, or want to go deeper, the full teaching is now available on YouTube.

I believe this message will shift your perspective and call you into something deeper.
