A historic day is coming for the Diocese of Toledo.

All are invited to Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral on Sunday, November 1, at 3 p.m. as Bishop Daniel E. Thomas celebrates the Order of the Dedication of an Altar and Blessing of the Restored Cathedral.

Following months of restoration, this special diocesan celebration will mark the dedication of the Cathedral’s new altar and the blessing of the newly restored mother church of the Diocese of Toledo.

Join Catholics from across the diocese as we celebrate the Solemnity of All Saints and give thanks for the extraordinary generosity that has made this restoration possible.

These photos and the accompanying reflection were shared by a parishioner following the Feast of Corpus Christi this past June:

While participating in the Corpus Christi procession, one parishioner snapped these photos. The second image uniquely struck her. It stood out from all the other photos she had captured that evening -- the bright and radiant sun evocative of what the Miracle of the Sun at Fatima must have looked like. She felt this was a special moment, a kind of signal grace, caught on camera and wanted to share it with other parishioners that it might touch their hearts as well.
