Way-Making Wednesday Noon Day Encouragement
From Pastor Carl E. Mitchell III
One of the greatest challenges for believers today is not whether we have convictions, but whether we are willing to stand on them when standing becomes uncomfortable. The world often encourages silence in the name of acceptance, but God calls His people to speak the truth in love and to never be ashamed of His Word.
Jesus reminded us in Matthew 10:32-33 (KJV):
“Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.”
Standing for what is right does not guarantee applause. Sometimes it brings criticism, misunderstanding, and opposition. Yet our responsibility is not to win popularity contests—it is to remain faithful to Christ. The Apostle Paul declared in Romans 1:16 (KJV):
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth…”
As you move through this Wednesday, remember that God is a Way Maker. He will make a way for those who choose faithfulness over fear, truth over convenience, and obedience over approval. Not everyone will agree with your stand, but everyone should know what you stand for.
Galatians 1:10 (KJV) asks:
“For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.”
Today, walk boldly. Speak graciously. Love genuinely. Stand firmly. Let your life be a testimony that your faith is not hidden, your convictions are not negotiable, and your trust is in the Lord.
Prayer:
Father, give us the courage to stand for Your truth with humility, grace, and love. Help us never to compromise our faith for the approval of others. Strengthen us to be lights in a dark world and witnesses of Your goodness wherever we go. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Have a blessed Way-Making Wednesday!
