Yesterday was the LAST DAY of TCA Assembly’s Closet for 2026, and my heart is FULL! 🥹❤️🙌🏾
I am so incredibly grateful and thankful for what I experienced yesterday. To see multiple families come through the doors and shop for FREE was such a blessing! 🛍️👕👖👟❤️
A HUGE thank-you to everyone who donated your gently used attire, shoes, accessories, and other items throughout the spring and summer. Your generosity made this ministry possible! 🙏🏾
And then God gave us one of those beautiful moments that reminds you WHY you do what you do. ❤️
A young girl was looking through the clothing and wasn’t really finding much in her size or the style she liked. Then another young lady came in with a trunk FULL of clothes. Wouldn’t you know it—she had a whole bag of clothes in the young girl’s size AND the exact style she liked! 🥹🙌🏾 She simply handed that bag over to her. No hesitation. Just love. ❤️
That same woman also dropped off items specifically for our elderly guests, blessing them as well. And yes, she even walked away with a few pieces herself! That’s what community looks like. That’s what giving looks like. That’s what GOD looks like! 🙌🏾❤️
The effort, time, energy, sorting, organizing, lifting, setting up, and cleaning up that goes into Assembly’s Closet is A LOT! But when you see the smiles, the families helped, and the needs met, you realize the results are absolutely PRICELESS. 🥰
It pays to obey God! 🙏🏾❤️
A very special THANK YOU to all of our TCA members who showed up and helped throughout the spring and summer. And I cannot thank my Mother’s Board enough because THEY ALWAYS SHOW UP! 👏🏾❤️🙌🏾 Y’all are truly a blessing!
We’ll begin collecting gently used attire again around March 2027 as we prepare to open Assembly’s Closet back up in May 2027. 🗓️👚👞👜
