Fathers, your role is important!

The important thing to be present and to take an active role in modeling discipleship to your family, even if no one did it for you. Simply doing your best and loving your family will have a profound impact on their lives.

Today we continued our Immediately series by looking at the story of Jairus and the woman with the issue of blood.

Mark intentionally places these stories together to remind us that faith doesn’t stop when circumstances change. The woman becomes a model for Jairus, and Jesus’ words still speak to us today:

“Do not be afraid; only believe.”

The challenge of faith isn’t coming to Jesus. The challenge is continuing to trust Him when circumstances seem to say otherwise. Faith keeps moving because it refuses to let fear have the final word.
