By the reason of the resurrection you are offered a life of abundance, both in the physical realm and in spiritual eternity.

The death of Jesus serves as a testament to his humanity, while his resurrection affirms his divinity. Only God possesses authority over death, and in Jesus, we see God made manifest in human form. He triumphed over the grave, overcoming the power of death and emerging victorious.Jesus Christ is simultaneously fully divine and fully human.

For though He was crucified in weakness, yet He lives by the power of God". 2 Corinthians 13:4:
Christ died in the flesh but was made alive in the spirit is 1 Peter 3:18

HUMANITY DIED..,Christ experienced real human death—the separation of his human soul from his physical body—on the cross.
DIVINITY REMAINED ALIVE..Christ's divine nature is eternal and inseparable from himself. This divine nature did not cease to exist, die, or change when his body died.

The Power to Rise: Because his divinity remained alive, Christ possessed the power to break the bonds of death and resurrect his human body, proving he has life within himself.

"But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness."Romans 8:10

The flesh which was capable of death, with the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, which raised him to new life.

To live is Christ and to die is gain," expressing desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better than staying in the body. Phil 1:21-23

These scriptures support the belief that the body is temporary (mortal), while the spirit/soul continues to exist beyond physical death

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you". Romans 8:11

The grip of death has been shattered, and through Christ, you are offered a life of abundance, both in the physical realm and in spiritual eternity.

Enjoy the richness of this life in a Christ centered perspective..

Jesus died "once for all and all sin was covered by His blood.
Jesus’ sacrifice was “once for all.” His sacrifice will never be repeated because His death was sufficient to cover all sin.

Jesus' sacrifice was a singular act that addressed all sins—past, present, and future—demonstrating the profound nature of His love and grace. As stated in Hebrews 10:12, after offering Himself as a once-for-all sacrifice, He took His place at the right hand of God, signifying the completeness of His atonement and the elimination of the need for continual offerings. This assurance allows believers to approach God with confidence, knowing that they are cleansed by Christ's blood, freeing them from guilt and empowering them to live in His love. It is essential to remember that one's past does not dictate their identity; rather, it is through Christ's sacrifice that they are granted new life. This truth should inspire believers to extend grace to others, embracing the freedom of forgiveness and sharing the message of hope with those around them.

But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; Hebrews 10:12

For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified. Heb 10:14

Christ's sacrifice is applied to “those who are sanctified.” In other words, God’s elect are those being perfected by Christ’s sacrifice. Though His death is capable of saving all, it is applied only to the elect.

—Christ died for us.Romans 5:8
—Christ died for our sins.1 Cor 15:3
—Christ died for the ungodly Romans 5:6
—For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God" Romans 6:10

For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God. 1 Peter 3:18

For if, while we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son.. Romans 5:10

Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners...". 1 Timothy 1:15:

PRAYER..Lord Jesus, thank You for Your ultimate sacrifice that covers all my sins. Help me to live in the freedom of Your grace and to share this incredible truth with others. May I reflect Your love in all I do.

CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS ..that we might die to sin.

Christ sacrificed Himself for our transgressions, enabling us to turn away from sin. His death served as a singular, profound offering meant to cleanse the world of its iniquities. As He proclaimed, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit," He took upon Himself the weight of our sins, fulfilling a divine mission that allows us to live free from the bo***ge of sin.

"But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us". Romans 5:8:

"So when Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, 'It is finished!' And bowing his head, he gave up his spirit". John 19:30:

Prophesied that "he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities". Isaiah 53:5:

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God"2 Corinthians 5:21

"For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God..."1 Peter 3:18:

Jesus says Love and serve one another in humility…do Holy communion in remembrance of me..
Passion week Thursday marks a series of significant events leading up to the crucifixion of Jesus. It begins with Jesus instructing Peter and John to prepare the Upper Room for the Passover meal. During this final supper, he shares bread and wine with his apostles, symbolizing his body and blood and instituting the sacrament of Holy Communion. In a profound act of humility, Jesus washes the feet of his disciples, exemplifying servant leadership and encouraging them to serve one another. The atmosphere shifts as Jesus reveals that Judas Iscariot will betray him, setting the stage for the impending events. Later, in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus experiences deep anguish while praying, fully aware of the sacrifice that awaits him. This turmoil culminates when Judas betrays him with a kiss, leading to Jesus' arrest by the temple guards. The evening concludes with Jesus being taken to the high priest to face trial before the Sanhedrin.

—Jesus’ institution of the Lord’s Supper, or communion (Luke 22:19–20)
—-the new mandate Jesus gave his disciples: "Love one another as I have loved you" (John 13:34).
—-Jesus’ washing the disciples’ feet. His act of humility and service set an example for us to love and serve one another in humility (John 13:3–17).

HOLINESSS IS THE WILL OF GOD FOR OUR LIVES..1 Thess 4:3-4

We are living in a world that seems so out of control, that seems so evil, where wrong seems to be rewarded and right often seems to be punished, it's vital to remember the holiness of God. Many spurn the gospel because they see little authentic godliness in the professing church.
This is a great challenge in our day when desperately low standards and worldliness prevail within the church.

We must battle for our souls. We live in a spiritual cauldron, facing the world, the flesh and the devil. We need all the armour of God to stand in the evil day, to grow in grace and have that faith, peace and holiness that qualifies a soul to see God (Ephesians 6:10-20

Holiness is not only a possibility for the Christian; holiness is a requirement. “Without holiness no one will see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14).

———————WHAT IS HOLINESS——————

To be “holy” means that we are, first of all, “set apart for honorable use.” Whereas we were “once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures . . . God our Savior . . . saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit” (Titus 3:3-5;

It is the state of being holy. To be holy is to be dedicated , set-apart or be consecrated to God or a religious purpose, to be devoted to the service of God, or to be morally and spiritually excellent.

HOLINESS ..involves two things:

—a-putting sin to death in one’s life; and

This is the will of God, even your sanctification for God has not called us to uncleanness but to holiness’ (1 Thessalonians 4:3, 7).

—b) becoming increasingly conformed to the character of Christ, who was ‘holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners’ (Hebrews 7:26).
Holiness is consistent with Christ’s work. ‘Christ … loved the church and gave himself for it that he might sanctify and cleanse it [and] present to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish’ (Ephesians 5:25-27).

Christ ‘gave himself for us that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify unto himself a peculiar people zealous for good works’ Titus 2:14..

It stands to reason – believers are not saved from the guilt of sin only to be left to experience its dominion!

GOD IS EVEN HOLY IN HIS HOLINESS

God's holiness is the essence of who he is and holiness is the essence of God's character, it becomes our calling as his children by inheritance.

Peter says: "As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, 'You shall be holy, for I am holy.'" (1 Peter 1:14-16,

Every believer have been called to be holy. If you are God's child, you stand before him as righteous because the perfect righteousness of Jesus has been given over to your personal account.

But there's a second aspect of this - you are holy because you have been bought with the blood of Jesus and you are not your own 1 Corinthians 6:19, 20.)

HOW IS THE HOLINESS OF GOD REVEALED ..?

No one can enter into his divide presence in a state less than holiness . It would result in death. God gave Israel the law so that we would know his holiness and our unholiness, but the law could not save us. What we need is to be re-created. Through his life-giving Spirit, God does exactly this, and called us to be holy.

God holiness is revealed In everything he does." Everything God thinks, desires, speaks and does is utterly holy in every way.

God is holy in every attribute and every action:

He is holy in justice. He is holy in love.

He is holy in mercy. He is holy in power.

He is holy in sovereignty. He is holy in wisdom.

He is holy in patience. He is holy in anger.

He is holy in grace. He is holy in faithfulness.

He is holy in compassion.

He is even holy in his holiness!

Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders Exodus 15:11

WHY HOLINESS MATTERS ..?

Without Holiness no one can see God Hebrews 12:14

All Christians should strive to be at peace, not only with themselves but with others.

—-Without the holiness of God, there would be no divine anger or judgement with sin.

—-Without the holiness of God, there would be no perfect Son sent as an acceptable sacrifice for sin.

—-Without the holiness of God, there would have been no vindication of the Resurrection.

—-Without the holiness of God, there would be no final defeat of Satan.

—-Without the holiness of God, there would be no hope of a new heaven and earth where holin

HOLINESS IS THE MARK OF THOSE WHO ARE IN CHRIST ….When a person accepts Jesus Christ as their savior, they are considered to be "in Christ" and therefore partake in His holiness.

Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.1 John 3:9

By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.1 John 3:10

As you consider the impossibility of this call, take time to remember that God never calls you to a task without enabling you to do it. God calls us to be holy, then sends his Holy Spirit to live inside of us so that we would have the wisdom and strength that we need to surrender to his holy call in all that we do.

Cultivating a lifestyle of holiness does not mean that we must draft a list of dos and donts to live by. We are free from the letter of the law which kills (2 Corinthians 3:6) and now live according to the dictates of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:16-18).

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE SPIRIT OF HOLINESS ..

holiness isn’t achieved through human strength but by the Spirit

HOLINESS is consistent with the Spirit’s ministry. The Spirit of God is called the Holy Spirit and the ‘Spirit of holiness’ (Romans 1:4). It is by the Spirit that we have new birth and the same Spirit who comes to dwell in the believer. Thus the Spirit who quickens us also sanctifies us (1 Thessalonians 2:13; 1 Peter 1:2).
It is by the Spirit that the believer overcomes temptation and sin and becomes ‘a new creation in Christ Jesus’ (2 Corinthians 5:17).

It is unquestionably the Spirit’s purpose to work holiness in the believer, enabling him to die to sin and live to God (Ephesians 5:9).

THE NECESSITY OF HOLINESS

Christians are enabled by the Holy Spirit to live morally, exemplary, and godly lives (2 Timothy 1:7).
The purity and holiness of God demands a holy life on the part of every Christians , it’s not optional but a necessity of holiness should be of priority to God’s people. (Davids, 69).

To have the ability to "see the Lord," we need the holiness that comes from the grace of Christ, through our faith in him (2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Peter 3:18).

Endeavoring to live as per that standard ought to be what each and every believer desire in their hearts (John 14:15).

in 1 John 1:6, God is light and in him there is no darkness –
If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.”

Jesus says, “You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” Mathew 5:48

he says to those who have done great things in the name of the Lord, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.”
Mathew 7:21

faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” James 2:17

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God1 Corithians 6:9

Just as holiness was required of God’s people in the Old Testament, so it is required of his people in the New Testament. There has been no relaxing of God’s demand for our personal holiness. It is required for our salvation. It is demanded of anyone before they enter the kingdom of God

THE BENEFITS OF HOLINESS

Holiness may seem hard, but the benefits far outweigh anything we might need to “sacrifice.” The gain is far greater than the loss of any worldly activity, behavior, or attitude.
Usually what it comes down to is simply our desire. Why would we want to live a holy life? The following five benefits are not the only reasons, but they’re ones Scripture mentions repeatedly.

—Holiness fosters intimacy with God and builds spiritual strength and stability (Psalm 15:1-6).

—-Holy living makes us useful and effective for God’s purposes (2 Timothy 2:20-26).

—Our holy life causes people around us to glorify God (1 Peter 2:9-12).

—Holiness builds peace with God (2 Peter 3:10-18).

—-A holy life pleases God and produces “fruit” (Ephesians 5:1-17).

—-When we yield to the Spirit, we become fruit-bearing Christians, yielding a harvest with which God is well pleased (Galatians 5:22-23).

We must recognise the supreme importance of personal holiness. For our own good in this life; for our preparation for heaven; for our witness in the world, and for the glorious return of our Saviour.

Jesus will present the church to himself as "without spot or wrinkle or any other blemish".
it should be holy and without blemish. Ephesians 5:27

The church should be spiritually pure and mature, free from sin and moral corruption. The process of becoming without blemish is ongoing, involving the work of the Holy Spirit in sanctification.

We must be diligent in the Word – diligent students of the Word, submissive hearers, and conscientious doers. Remember, we are sanctified through the truth (John 17:17). We will not make progress in holiness unless we apply the Word to our lives.

Because of God’s mercies, we should present our body as a living sacrifices, “holy , acceptable, and pleasing unto God” which is our reasonable service…Romans 12:1

WITHOUT THE SHEDDING OF BLOOD, there is no forgiveness of sin.. the power of this sacrifice is accessed through faith in Jesus Christ.
The blood of Jesus symbolizes his life that was sacrificed in place of sinners. It represents the cost paid for humanity's liberation from the bo***ge of sin and eternal death. The sacrifice of Jesus fulfilled and superseded the Old Testament practice of animal sacrifices, which were inadequate to fully eradicate sin. The blood is associated with life (Leviticus 17:11) and acts as the atonement for sin. Jesus's blood initiated a new covenant with God, permitting the forgiveness of sins. It serves as a protection against God's wrath and the accusations from Satan. The efficacy of this sacrifice is accessed through faith in Jesus Christ.

REDEMPTION AND FORGIVENESS

: in him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace" Ephesians 1:7).

CLEANSING AND PURIFICATION

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin" (1 John 1:7).

JUSTIFICATION :The blood makes believers righteous in God's sight (justification) and cleanses them from the guilt of sin (sanctification).

Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him!" (Romans 5:9).

ACCESS TO GOD: Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus..." Hebrews 10:19

Atonement/Necessity: "...without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness" (Hebrews 9:22).

Victory/Protection: "They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony..." (Revelation 12:11).

New Covenant: "This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins" (Matthew 26:28).

Sanctification: "And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood" (Hebrews 13:12).

Significance of the Blood

Purchased the Church: The church was bought with God's own blood (Acts 20:28).

Cleanses the Conscience: It purifies the conscience from acts that lead to death (Hebrews 9:14).

Eternal Life: Consuming the blood (symbolically) is linked to having eternal life (John 6:53-54).

Reconciliation: It brings peace between God and humanity (Colossians 1:

The blood of Jesus is crucial for salvation as it represents the ultimate, sinless sacrifice necessary to atone for the sins of humanity, thereby fulfilling the biblical mandate that states,
without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness." It functions as a ransom, liberating believers from the consequences of death, cleansing sin, and mending the fractured relationship between God and humanity.
HOW THE BLOOD OF JESUS RECONCILE

Sin created a barrier of hostility and alienation. Jesus's shed blood served as the ultimate sacrifice that satisfied God's justice, effectively "paying the debt" that humanity could not pay.By dying on the cross, Jesus
made peace through the blood of His cross" (Colossians 1:20), ending the spiritual war between God and man. In the Old Testament, access to God's presence was restricted and required animal blood. The blood of Jesus removed these barriers, allowing all people to "draw near" to God with confidence.

Through faith, the blood of Jesus allows a person to be "justified"—viewed by God as if they had never sinned—which is the foundation of a restored relationship.
