Here is the latest update on Addi, from just a few minutes ago. Please keep this precious child and her family in your prayers.

Addi went into surgery at 4:00 this afternoon and made it through without any complications. The surgery was very risky in her critical condition but the doctors are pleased at how she did. They pulled over 700 cc’s of fluid off of her belly and inserted a drain tube to hopefully keep all of this fluid drained off. She is able to breath better without all of the fluid pressure although she’s still on the bi-pap ventilator. She’s not aware of very much right now but I pray she starts waking up more soon. Addi is in multi organ failure so we are praying that relieving some of the fluid building up in her body that this will help her organs to begin to heal and WORK. After further studies, although they have NEVER had a case of liver failure like this, the doctors now believe she does have VOD. She will begin meds for this as soon as she is stable enough and they get her blood counts stabilized. This is a risky treatment with a possibility of bleeding but necessary for Addi’s liver to hopefully repair and her survival. They’ve talked about a possible liver biopsy to see the extent of liver damage but not certain of that just yet.

Infection is a huge concern with this tube in her side and they have mentioned sepsis but we are just waiting on cultures. There’s definitely something going on with the high fevers she’s had so praying the strong antibiotics they are giving her will take care of whatever it is.

Please PRAY that her breathing will get better and she will not have to be intubated, no infection, organs begin to recover/work and the VOD meds work with no complications! Addi has a long road and continues to be in extremely critical condition but we are just happy she made it through today and feel blessed that she’s fighting so hard! She is the strongest little girl I’ve ever seen. Her doctor told me that we will take it hour by hour then day by day and that’s all we can do. Addi is our princess and she’s a warrior and we have all faith that God will help her little body continue to fight. There are not enough words to describe our gratitude for the thousands of prayers being said for Addi. We are so grateful. PLEASE continue to lift her up in prayer and believe in her complete healing with us. Much love....LaLa!

Toccoa Little League will offer teams for baseball and softball players ages 7-12 in our Little League program and (hopefully) ages 13-16 in our Senior League program!

REGISTRATION
Please make plans to attend one of our in-person registration sessions. All registration will be held at Sunnyside Baptist Church in the fellowship hall. The address is 1154 Mize Road, across from North Georgia Credit Union.

Please bring your player with you if you feel like they will need to try on our sample jerseys. Representatives from TSC will have a variety of sizes in our baseball and softball jerseys available.

If your player has played in previous seasons and you’ve provided a birth certificate in the past, you do not need to bring any documents to registration. If this is their first season with TLL, please bring a copy or bring the original so we can make a copy.

COST
The cost of the season is $80, cash or check only. There will be a $5 sibling discount offered for each registration after the first.

Please make every effort to attend one of the seven registration dates. Registrations occurring after these dates at player evaluations will have a $10 late fee added.

After player evaluations, registrations will only be taken to fill existing teams and there will be a $15 late fee added.

AGES
Please see the age charts (in comments) to determine your player’s league age. Make sure you are looking at the correct age chart - baseball and softball have different age determination dates. Baseball players must be seven on or before August 31, 2019. Softball players must be seven as of December 31, 2018.

We offer the following divisions:
ROOKIE BB and ROOKIE SB - ages 7&8
MINOR BB- ages 9-11
MINOR SB - ages 9&10
MAJOR BB- ages 9-12
MAJOR SB - ages 11&12
SENIOR BB - ages 13-16

SENIOR LEAGUE
We will be taking registration for SRBB during the registration period but payment is not due until the season starts around April 1. SRBB does not begin until after the SCMS spring season is completed.

MANAGERS, COACHES, UMPIRES, and VOLUNTEERS
We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic volunteers at all levels of baseball and softball! Please attend one of the registration sessions to fill out the paperwork. All volunteers must be members of Toccoa Little League and pay the $10 yearly dues when filling out the required forms. Toccoa Little League WILL run background checks on all applicants.

Managers for all teams will be selected by the TLL Board of Directors. Managers must commit to attending the mandatory managers’ meeting on Friday 2/9 and be present for all three player evaluation dates as well as the draft on Saturday 2/16.

Assistant coaches will be selected based on draft results.

Umpires - we NEED you! Training will be provided. This is a great opportunity to stay involved and stay on the ball field! Please contact TLL UIC Charlie Cheek at ‭(706) 391-1460‬ for more information on umpiring. Applications will be available at registration.

The 8:30 AM service has been cancelled today due to weather, as well as all Sunday school classes. They have not decided yet if the 11:00 service is cancelled.
