Whether you're a child or an adult, one question tends to follow us throughout our lives: "Am I good enough?" We often try to mask this insecurity by building ice palaces of isolation, trying to be the good girl or good guy, or simply hiding our past mistakes to avoid the judgment of others. But what if the shame you're carrying is exactly what God wants to heal?

In part six of our series, The Core, Pastor David Reneau looks at the story of Moses. Like many of us, Moses tried to hide his failures and spent years in self-imposed exile, convinced that his past disqualified him from greatness. But God met him at a burning bush, not to condemn him, but to call him—proving that our competence doesn't come from our performance, but from His presence.

In this message, we discuss:
• Why criticism is the kryptonite of the person driven by "Am I good enough?"
• How God melts the ice palace of isolation by revealing that love—not performance—is the key to our true identity.
• How the Motivator and Guide archetypes help us understand our unique way of creating value.
• Practical ways to let go of shame and give yourself permission to be a beginner.

Scripture References:
• Exodus 2:11-15
• Exodus 3-4
• Luke 12:2-3
• Ephesians 2:4-6
• Titus 3:15

We often spend our lives trying to project strength, but God’s power is made perfect in our weakness. It sounds backwards to the world, but when we are weak, then we are strong. It is time to stop trying to handle everything on our own strength and start allowing Christ's power to rest on us. Let this message from Pastor David change your perspective on the difficulties you are facing right now. Watch the full sermon here: https://www.facebook.com/encountertoccoa/videos/1589713852573956

Stop looking to your bank account to measure your success. The world tells us that if you have the house, the car, and the big impact, you have made it. But God measures success differently. He isn't looking at a resume; He is looking at who you are. You are already successful, not because of what you have done, but because you are His child. If you are carrying the weight of proving yourself, let this message remind you of who you truly are. Navigating job loss or a path that didn't go as planned is incredibly difficult. Pastor David shares about the season he lost his position and searched for a loud, clear sign from God. Instead of a fire or earthquake, he found a whisper. If you are currently in a season where your plans have fallen apart, you need to stop looking for the fire and start listening for the whisper. We live in a world that tells us "if you ain't first, you're last!" For many of us, our core question in life is, "Am I successful?" We tie our worth to our wins, our career milestones, and our ability to contribute. But what happens when you hit a wall, experience a failure, or simply feel like the world isn't appreciating your work?

In part five of our series, The Core, Pastor David Reneau explores the life of the prophet Elijah. After a massive spiritual victory, Elijah found himself hiding in a cave, feeling like a total failure. His story reveals that God defines success differently than the world does, and that His presence is far more important than our performance.

In this message, we discuss:
* The "kryptonite" of success-driven people: Fear of failure.
* How to stop letting workaholism become your identity.
* Why God often speaks to our scramble in a whisper, not a fire.
* Practical ways to find tiny greatness in the everyday.

Scripture References:
* 1 Kings 19:1-3, 8-18
* Joshua 1:8
* Jeremiah 1:7-8
* 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

You don't have to wait until the very end of your story to find out if you are accepted or if you finally fit in. Long before you were ever formed in the womb, God knew you, set you apart, and appointed you with a purpose. He did it for Jeremiah, He did it for Paul, and He has done it for you. While the world might treat you like an outsider or a backup plan, God answers your deepest question with a resounding yes. You are not an afterthought—you are His first choice. Imagine your entire family getting dressed up, washing their clothes, and gathering for a massive, life-changing celebration—but nobody bothers to invite you. That was David. He was left out in the dirty fields tending sheep while his family stood in the lineup. He was the Cinderella of Bethlehem, experiencing a silent rejection that told him he wasn't wanted or worthy to be in the room. But God does not see things the way people do. Before the celebration could even begin, the prophet Samuel declared that they wouldn't even sit down until David arrived. If you feel overlooked by the people around you, click the below to watch the full sermon and see how God chooses the ones the world leaves behind.
