Our Lady of Perpectual Help - Virginia Our Lady of Perpectual Help Our Lady of Perpectual Help is a chapter of the Catholic Daughters of America. Who Are The Catholic Daughters?

The Catholic Daughters of the Americas strives to embrace the principle of faith
working through love in the promotion of justice, equality, and the advancement
of human rights and human dignity for all. The Catholic Daughters of the Americas is one of the oldest and largest organizations
of Catholic women in the Americas. They donate to charities, administer scholarship
programs and strive “to

be helping hands where there is pain, poverty, sorrow or
sickness.”

The CDA motto is “Unity and Charity.”

The CDA was formed over 100 years ago and today numbers 75,000 dues-paying
members in 1,250 courts (local chapters) in 45 states across the country, and in
Puerto Rico, Mexico, Guam, and the Virgin Islands. Catholic Daughter women
enjoy each other’s company at meetings and work hard for their parishes and
communities. Deeply spiritual, together they share faith, love of God and a distinctly
feminine spirituality alluded to by Pope John Paul II when he spoke of
the necessity of “feminine genius” in today’s world. The program includes
concerns of today’s church and society as well as issues that affect the
well-being of women and children. The Legislative Program encourages interested members to learn about
laws that may influence their faith and to contact their state representatives
to make their personal positions known through Operation Morning Star
(The Catholic Daughters of the Americas does not endorse political candidates.) Girls and young women ages 6-18 can join the Junior Catholic Daughters of
the Americas. Young college women can become members of Campus Courts
at some universities.

SYMBOLS OF THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY

❤️ HEART – It symbolizes Mary's maternal love as the Mother of Christ and Mother of the Church. Her Immaculate Heart represents her interior life: her perfect faith, complete obedience to God's will, and her constant desire to lead souls to Jesus.

🗡️ SWORD – It recalls the prophecy of Simeon, who told Mary that "a sword will pierce your own soul too" (Luke 2:35). It signifies the profound sorrows she endured in union with Christ, especially as she stood at the foot of the Cross.

🔥 FIRE – It symbolizes that Mary's Heart burns with love: love for God, love for her Son Jesus, and love for every person entrusted to her maternal care. It reflects the intensity of her charity and her desire for the salvation of souls.

🌹 ROSES – They are often understood in Catholic devotion as symbols of Mary's purity, beauty, and virtue. Many also associate them with her Immaculate Conception and perpetual virginity, since the rose has long been a Marian symbol representing the holiness and grace with which God adorned her from the beginning.

💬 What part of Mary's Immaculate Heart do you need most right now: her purity, her courage, her trust in God, or her motherly love?

🙏❤️Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary🙏❤️

Saturday, 13 June 2026

Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary focuses on the interior life of the Blessed Mother, meditating on both her inner joys and sorrows, the virtues she exhibited, and her threefold love for God the Father, her maternal love for her son Jesus, and her compassionate love for all people. This feast day is not a holy day of obligation and is celebrated the day after the Solemnity of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Learn more about the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Prayer for all the days:

“We fly to Thy protection, O Holy Mother of God.
Do not despise our petitions in our necessities,
but deliver us always from all dangers,
O Glorious and Blessed Virgin”
“Oh Mary, Mother of the Church and our Mother,
we entrust to you the whole world, with its joys and sorrows, its hopes and anxieties.
We entrust to you the nations, the rulers, and every single person.
Mother, obtain that the whole world
may repent and return to your Divine Son Jesus.
Protect the Church, enlighten the pastors,
support the faithful, convert hearts.
May your intercession extinguish conflicts, heal wounds, and build a more just and fraternal world.
Guide us, Mary, towards salvation.
Mother, we give ourselves to You, for the glory of the Father”

🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Let us meditate daily on the words of Mary and finally pray the “Salve Regina…”

1. “Before the palm of the right hand of the Madonna, there was a crowned heart with thorns that seemed to be pierced. We understood that it was the Immaculate Heart of Mary, outraged by the sins of humanity, which desires reparation.” (Venerable Lucia of Fatima, June 13, 1917).
2. “Have compassion for the Heart of your Most Holy Mother. It is entirely covered with the thorns with which ungrateful men pierce it at every moment, and there is no one to remove any of them with an act of reparation.” (Baby Jesus to Venerable Lucia of Fatima, December 10, 1925)
3. “My daughter, contemplate My Heart surrounded by the thorns with which ungrateful men continually pierce it with their blasphemies and ingratitude. You, at least, try to console Me.” (Blessed Virgin to Venerable Lucia of Fatima,December 10, 1925)
4. “Sacrifice yourselves for sinners, and say many times, especially whenever you make a sacrifice: ‘O Jesus, it is for Your love, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.’” (Blessed Virgin to the Fatima shepherd children, July 13, 1917)
5. “Jesus wants to establish devotion to My Immaculate Heart in the world. Whoever accepts it, I will promise salvation, and these souls will be loved by God, like flowers placed by Me to adorn His Throne.” (Blessed Virgin to the Fatima shepherd children, June 13, 1917)
6. “You have seen Hell, where the souls of poor sinners fall. To save them, God wants to establish devotion to My Immaculate Heart in the world. If they do what I tell you, many souls will be saved and will find peace.” (Blessed Virgin to the Fatima shepherd children, July 13, 1917)
7. “I am pleased with souls that pray fervently with the aim of consoling the Heart of your Mother in Heaven, and not with those who remain lukewarm and indifferent in prayer…” (Baby Jesus to Venerable Lucia of Fatima, February 15, 1926)
8. “I am almost ready to go to Heaven. Stay here to proclaim that God wants to establish devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in the world. When you speak of it, do not hide yourself. Tell everyone that God grants us graces through the Immaculate Heart of Mary; ask them to ask Her for them, because the Heart of Jesus wants the Immaculate Heart of Mary to be venerated alongside His Heart. Ask for peace from the Immaculate Heart of Mary, because God entrusted it to Her! If I could put into everyone’s heart the fire that burns within my chest and makes me love so much the Heart of Jesus and the Heart of Mary!” (Saint Jacinta Marto to her cousin Venerable Lucia of Fatima, before dying, 1920).
9. “Finally, My Immaculate Heart will triumph (...) and a time of peace will be granted to the world." (Blessed Virgin to the little shepherds of Fatima, July 13, 1917)

THE FEAST OF THE MOST SACRED HEART OF JESUS

"Behold this Heart which has loved men so much."

The Church celebrates the Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, a beautiful reminder of the infinite love that Christ has for every person. The Sacred Heart symbolizes His mercy, compassion, and unwavering desire to draw all souls closer to Him. Through His suffering, death, and Resurrection, Jesus revealed a love that knows no limits and never abandons those who seek Him.

The Heart of Jesus remains open to all—especially to sinners, the broken-hearted, the weary, and those burdened by life's struggles. No matter how many times we fall, His mercy is greater than our weaknesses. His Sacred Heart, pierced for our salvation and burning with divine love, continues to invite us to trust in Him and return to His embrace.

In a world often marked by selfishness, division, and indifference, the Sacred Heart calls us to live lives of love, forgiveness, kindness, and faith. It reminds us that true peace is found not in worldly things but in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

As we prepare to celebrate this feast, let us place all our worries, fears, hopes, dreams, families, and intentions into the loving Heart of Jesus. May His grace strengthen us, His mercy heal us, and His love transform our hearts.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
Jesus, meek and humble of Heart, make our hearts like unto Thine. Amen 🙏❤️✝️

On June 12, the Church celebrates the beautiful Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus — a day to honor Christ’s infinite love and mercy!

On this special feast, the Church grants a plenary indulgence (full remission of all temporal punishment due to sin) to the faithful who:

✅ How to Obtain It:

Publicly recite the Act of Reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus (See in the Comments). This must be done publicly—in a church, with your family, or in a religious community.

Fulfill the usual conditions for a plenary indulgence:
⬩ Be detached from all sin (even venial)
⬩ Go to Sacramental Confession (within about 20 days before or after)
⬩ Receive Holy Communion (ideally on the day itself)
⬩ Pray for the intentions of the Holy Father (one Our Father and one Hail Mary)

This is a tremendous grace! A perfect opportunity to make reparation for sins committed against the love of Jesus and to draw closer to His Merciful Heart.

May the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus bless you abundantly with peace, healing, and deeper love for Him.

Day 9 – Consecration of the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Today, we consecrate the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Parishes and individuals around the country are encouraged to join the U.S. Catholic bishops in this historic occasion, beginning with this Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus written for the consecration.

“ O Most Sacred Heart of Jesus: You know the longings of our hearts, and you desire that we enjoy friendship with you. From your pierced side, you have poured out the wellspring of life, for which we thirst. Your heart burns with a love for all people to return to a right relationship with you. We celebrate the abundant gifts you have given this nation, founded on the self-evident truths that our Creator has endowed all people with the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We make reparation for the offenses against you and against human dignity that have taken place in this nation. May our hearts be united to yours, so that our families and communities enjoy peace and happiness; may broken relationships be reconciled, injustices repaired, and the wounds of our land be healed. May your holy Catholic Church serve as a sign, pointing all people to your infinite love. O Desire of Nations and Center of History, we ask you to bless these United States of America. Who live and reign with God the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us! Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us! Amen”
