Oh how we love to be busy with donating grants to our nonprofits! Yesterday was indeed a fruitful day as members of CEC delivered checks to GWOM representative Peter Ligman, who graciously came to Hickory Neck. Next we went to the Salvation Army and presented the grant to Captains Katie and Jumaine Bernabe, and Transitional Housing Manager, Kris Magnusson. At Avalon we were met by (left to right) Executive Director Tina Thomas and Senior Director of Development & Communications, Elizabeth Blackney. Our last stop was at COFM and Executive Director Donnie McDaniel.

Thank you to all at Hickory Neck who helped us to support these wonderful organizations!!

The Community Engagement Council of HNC presented Nancy Sullivan, representing Friends of Barnabas ministry, with a $500 grant - a grant made possible by the donations and support of our many activities. More grants will be issued to six more charities this week.
