The Feast of St. Michael and All Angels, celebrated on September 29, is an ancient Christian observance honoring Michael the Archangel and the heavenly host. Its roots reach back to the early centuries of Christianity, and the feast has long called Christians to remember God’s care, protection, and the ministry of angels.

Join us at St. Gabriel’s on Sunday, September 27 at 5:00 PM for a beautiful Evensong in anticipation of this special feast. Evensong is a cherished Anglican tradition of sung Evening Prayer, combining Scripture, prayer, and sacred music, a tradition shaped by the Book of Common Prayer since the 16th century. Come experience an evening of beauty, reflection, and worship as we celebrate St. Michael and All Angels.

So incredibly proud of our friend and long time member of St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church. Billie Fitzgerald is a joy to know and she has stories that go on for days!

Congratulations to Billie Ruth Fitzgerald, the winner of the 2026 Titusville Community Service Award!

The Titusville Community Service Award is awarded annually in memory of Harry R, whose words and actions personified the concept of service and unity in the Titusville community. Each year, the award select committee seeks nominations for citizens whose service benefits Titusville. This year, St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church nominated Billie Ruth Fitzgerald, whose commitment to the community includes over 24 years serving on the Parrish Medical Center Board, 40 years on the Titusville Housing Authority, and spearheading funding for the Titusville Towers Assisted Living Facility, along with actively participating in the Garden Club, NASA Wives, and St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church Vestry and Altar Guild.

The award was presented during the regular City Council meeting on August 26, 2025, at 5:30 p.m.

🎶 Sing a New Song! 🎶

What an incredible weekend of music, fellowship, and worship!

This past weekend, Eleven members of St. Gabriel’s joined singers from churches across the Brevard Country for the Sing a New Song choir event, hosted by Grace United Methodist Church on Merritt Island.

The weekend began Friday night with receiving the music, followed by a full day of rehearsal on Saturday, and culminated in a beautiful concert on Sunday. We’re so grateful for the dedication of our choir members and for the opportunity to share our voices in song with our wider community.

Thank you to Nick Barth, and everyone who helped make this special weekend possible!

Thank you Titusville Public Works for coming out and repairing the sidewalks on Pine Street! Between the courthouse across the street, No One Hungry located on campus, and others who regularly use St Gabriel’s property, this was an important fix.
