Trinity Lutheran Church just a heads up about the texting wr will be rolling out in the nex 30 days

We’ve been using the Gloo app at our church and it has truly been a blessing. The purpose is to help us stay connected with our people during the week in a simple and direct way. It allows us to send devotionals, reminders, and encouragement straight to their phones without feeling like a group chat.

It sends a massive group text but looks like it comes from the church (1800 number)and when they respond it goes to the apps secure inbox.

What I really appreciate is that it’s free and comes with 10,000 texts a month. You can also create different groups inside the app so messages are tailored to who needs them. For example, you can send one type of message to leaders, another to parents, and another to the whole congregation.

It has helped us strengthen relationships and build consistency beyond Sunday morning. If you’re looking for a tool to communicate and care for your people, this is worth checking out.

I use it as touchpoints throughout the week so our congregation feels connected until we meet again.
