Today was a special day in the life of our church as we dedicated our new building to the glory of God and the work of His kingdom.

Thanks to David Daniel for bringing the message and performing the dedication.

We are thankful for every prayer, every helping hand, every sacrifice, and every person who helped make this possible. This building is more than walls and a roof. It is a place where lives will be changed, families strengthened, hearts healed, and Jesus worshiped for years to come and we invite you to join us.

Scripture Sunday 📖

Paul’s call to unity was never a call for uniformity in personality, preference, or opinion. It was a call to agree in the Lord, to be rooted together in Christ above all else.

Christian unity is not formed through compromise with the world, but through shared holiness, shared mission, and shared love for Jesus Christ. The Church is strongest when we keep our hearts centered on Christ, extend grace to one another, and seek the mind of Christ together. Unity does not mean the absence of differences; it means we surrender to the same Savior.

As we approach General Conference, there will be many perspectives, ideas, and convictions about what is best for the future of the Church. Yet above every preference and proposal, may we remember our higher calling: to agree in the Lord.

🙏 Gracious Father, may we listen with humility, speak with grace, remain open to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and seek together what most honors Christ and strengthens His Church. Amen.

Jimmy's insights on Faith and Family are a great way to start your day as a Daily Devotional for men or a daily devotional for women too. He relates Christian principles in a simple way using his knowledge of fishing and career as a professional angler to be a light for Christ and share GOD's message of love, hope, and kindness. Jimmy admits his faults and misgivings and helps you learn how to be a better Christian drawing experience from his own mistakes. Jimmy makes understanding Christian values so easy that it makes Catch of the Day a great Daily Devotional for Youth as well.

In the Kingdom of God, mission matters, movement matters, and multiplication matters. When Jesus gave His disciples their mission it was to “go and make disciples of all nations,” He was calling them to movement (go) and to multiplication (make disciples). That call remains the core of what it means to be a missional church.

The altar was packed at the Alabama Emerald Coast Annual Conference two weeks ago in response to two training sessions focused on “Re-Awakening Movement Ready Churches” who are multiplying disciples of Jesus Christ. Jeremy Smith, lead pastor at Crosspoint GMC, exhorted the annual conference to “build a disciple-making blueprint tailored to your unique context.”

Looking for Jesus Together
by Bishop Leah Gregory

Scripture:
“After three days they found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.”
— Luke 2:46

Dear sisters and brothers in Christ,

As a pastor and a mother, I must confess that I may have left each of my children at the church on more than one occasion. Usually, I remembered in the parking lot. One time, I made it all the way home before realizing I was missing a kiddo.

These were, perhaps, epic motherly fails.

And yet, I have always taken some comfort in the fact that Mary lost Jesus.
