Life can feel like a kid carrying a backpack stuffed with science books. At first, it doesn't seem too bad. But after a while, the straps dig into your shoulders and every step feels a little harder.
Then a friend walks up and says, "Here, let me carry a few of those."
The weight hasn't disappeared. The journey isn't shorter. But suddenly it feels possible again because you don't have to carry it alone.
Sometimes strength isn't proving you can carry everything. Sometimes strength is admitting the backpack is heavy.
We'll talk about this more on Sunday 10 am as we continue our Beatitudes Series. You'll be welcomed with warm smiles from kind souls.
