2026 District Assembly is in the books! Congratulations to Dr. Dave Bartley for his re-election as District Superintendent.

Something that stuck with me today was the importance of understanding that our building is located at 215 E. Adams in Tipton- but our church exists on the streets where we live!!

Lord, we pray tonight that your peace will fall
on all nations, especially our own. We ask that the leaders in our hometown of Tipton will seek your wisdom and walk in your truth. Please help us, the church, to be a good example of those very things and be full of grace. Help us be an encouragement to our community as we seek healing from the wounds that continue to make us ill and fall short. Heal us, Lord, so that we may learn to trust again. Heal us, oh Lord, so that even when we differ in plans and solutions, we do so full of trust and grace. Heal us, oh Lord, so that we may truly show love to one another again. Heal us, oh Lord, so that we may grow closer to being the creation you intended us to be.

It’s in Christ’s name we pray. Amen.
