For a small town, we’re doing BIG things: *500 is the approximate number of food packs that were distributed last summer through our Food-4-Kids ministry!! *30-40 is the average number of bottoms that we are currently providing diapers and wipes for EACH MONTH!!
Please join us and let us serve you a tasty meal, as we raise funds for these ministries that benefit local children within our community.

Diane Wright, a lay member at Grandview United Methodist Church in Kansas City, is a skilled seamstress. Over the past 10 years, Wright has repurposed 626 wedding dresses into nearly 6,000 Angel Gowns, which are used to clothe stillborn infants as a way to support grieving families. "While the work occurring at the Sharefests is integral in making this cooperative ministry happen, equally important are the hours spent preparing and gathering resources throughout the year. This year alone, 65% of participating churches represented communities of 5,000 or less and their donations accounted for 3/4 of our non-cash gifts (packs and kits). That is amazing work and a testament to the impact of smaller or more rural congregations working in unity for something bigger."
