The Compassionate Friends (TCF) USA is a national nonprofit, self-help organization offering friendship, understanding, and hope to families grieving the death of a child of any age, from any cause. The organization has no religious affiliation and no individual membership fees or dues are charged. Founded in England in 1969, TCF was established in the United States in 1972, with 501(c)(3) not-for

The Miami County Compassionate Friends March Meeting will be Thursday March 26th at 7:00 pm.

Topic: "Brainstorming" We will write our questions and concerns concerning our bereavement on 3x5 cards and read them randomly. Brainstorming with each other.

Meetings are held at:
Zion Lutheran Church
14 W. Walnut St.
Tipp City, Oh

Park in rear of church and come in back door. Meeting room is to the left.

We donated over 60 pounds of pull tabs to the Ronald McDonald House in Dayton! Thanks to Mica Glaser Jones and The Windamere for doing an outstanding job of collecting these for us!
We urge all of our members to save the tabs and bring them to our monthly meetings for us to donate to this worthy cause! We will have a container to collect them for next year's donation! Thank you Ronald McDonald House for all you do for the families of children.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 14TH WE HELD OUR ANNUAL CANDLE LIGHTING MEMORIAL AT ZION LUTHERAN CHURCH IN TIPP CITY. WE READ 52 NAMES OF OUR CHILDREN, GRANDCHILDREN AND SIBLINGS AS WE REMEMBER THEIR TOO SHORT LIVES. EACH CHILD HAD A CANDLE LIT AS THEIR NAME WAS READ AND EACH FAMILY RECEIVED A RED CARNATION IN REMEMBRANCE. AFTER THE CEREMONY, WE GATHERED TOGETHER FOR A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY MEAL. EVEN THOUGH THE ROADS THE NIGHT BEFORE WERE BAD, WE HAD OVER 60 PEOPLE ATTEND AND WE TRULY ENJOYED OUR TIME TOGETHER. WISHING EVERYONE A PEACEFUL TIME WITH YOUR LOVED ONES DURING THESE HOLIDAYS AND LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU NEXT YEAR AT OUR JANUARY MEETING!
