Your past does not have to be your future. The shame you’ve carried doesn’t have to be the voice that tells you who you are. The worst thing you’ve ever done — the thing you replay, the thing you think disqualifies you — doesn’t have to be the thing that defines you. That’s what grace actually means.

You’ve probably told yourself: that’s just who I am. I’ve made too many mistakes. God could forgive other people — but probably not me. This clip says directly: that’s not the offer on the table. Jesus doesn’t hand you a slightly improved version of the same old life. He offers a new one. Not because you earned it. Because he died for it.

Maybe boldness today just means apologizing to someone. Maybe it’s refusing to join the gossip at work. Maybe it’s telling your kid you’re proud of them. Maybe it’s having an honest conversation instead of an easy one. Maybe it’s choosing integrity when nobody would ever know. You don’t become bold by doing one huge thing — you become bold one small yes at a time.

If you’re an introvert, this isn’t an excuse. If you’re an extrovert, this isn’t a personality advantage. Biblical boldness has nothing to do with how naturally comfortable you are in a room full of strangers. It’s what happens when your confidence in Jesus becomes bigger than your fear of what might happen if you actually follow him.
