DC Students | Taking Hope to the Streets šŸ’™

Our students arenā€™t just learning what it means to live on mission. Theyā€™re preparing to take the mission to the streets.

DC Students, alongside our Next Generation Pastor, and Counseling Dept will be walking in support of mental health advocacy, su***de prevention, and individuals and families impacted by su***de.

The need is real. Statistics share that in 10 U.S. high school students reported persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness, and 1 in 5 seriously considered attempting to un-alive themselves.

But these arenā€™t just statistics. These are young people in our schools, churches, families, and communities.

So weā€™re showing up with awareness, advocacy, support, and HOPE. šŸ’™

Help us take the mission beyond the walls and into our community.

Support Our Teamā ļæ¼ via PrayeršŸ¤² ; Join the walk šŸš¶; or donatešŸ’³ to our team page. You can select ā€œHarry Valentine (Next Gen Pastor )ā€ or just offer to the group as a whole.

More conversations. More support. Brighter tomorrows.

The analog era was more about presence than postingā€”being fully in the moment instead of constantly capturing it.

Worship can be like that too. In the presence of God, we set down the distractions, stop trying to document everything, and simply become present.

Some moments with God cannot be replayed, summarized, or posted. If you want to know what happened, you had to be there. See you there tonight!
