📖 STAY IN THE WORD 📖

Church, one of the most important things we can do throughout the week is open our Bibles and spend time in God’s Word.

Sunday morning shouldn’t be the only time we hear Scripture. God’s Word is meant to be part of our everyday lives—in our homes, before work, during our quiet moments, and especially during the seasons when life feels heavy.

The Bible gives us direction when we’re uncertain, encouragement when we’re discouraged, correction when we’re going the wrong way, and hope when we feel overwhelmed.

You don’t have to read for an hour. Start with a chapter. Start with a few verses. But start—and stay consistent. 📖❤️

Don’t just carry your Bible to church. Carry its Word in your heart.

“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”
— Psalm 119:11

Let’s be a church that doesn’t just hear the Word on Sunday—we live in it Monday through Saturday, too. 🙌

Stay prayed up. Stay encouraged. Stay in the Word.

Last night we watched The Chosen, Season 1 Episode 2 and ended with the Bible Study Lesson. It really is an eye opener into their lives and the impact Jesus had on them. I loved when Mary Magdalene said, "I was one way and now I am completely different, and the thing that happened in between was Him.”

Today was a day for celebration at Pleasant Grove!

Kevin and Carlee were recently married and we are so happy for them and we are glad that they are a huge part of our
Church family 💕

We presented our school kids their bags filled with school supplies and threw in a few snacks to make them a little more excited about going back to school 🙂
