Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, grandmothers, aunties, godmothers, mentors, and spiritual mothers in our congregation and community.
Today, we pause to thank God for the beautiful gift of motherhood and for the women whose love, prayers, sacrifices, and faith have helped shape our lives. Your strength, compassion, patience, and devotion reflect the heart of God in powerful ways. Whether seen or unseen, your labor of love has made a lasting difference in families, in the church, and throughout our community.
We also recognize that Mother’s Day can bring many emotions. We hold close those who are grieving the loss of a mother, missing a child, longing to become a mother, carrying quiet pain, or walking through difficult family relationships. May the God of all comfort surround you with peace, love, and healing today.
Scripture reminds us, “Her children rise up and call her blessed” (Proverbs 31:28). Today, we rise up in gratitude for the women who have nurtured us, prayed for us, corrected us, encouraged us, and loved us with a love that often reflects the grace of Christ.
May the Lord bless every mother and motherly figure with renewed strength, deep joy, and the assurance that your love and faithfulness are precious in His sight. You are cherished, valued, and deeply appreciated.
