Roxboro Christian Women's Club The Roxboro Christian Women's Club has been around for over 40+ years. This particular chapter meets in Timberlake, NC.

We are part of the Stonecroft Ministry, which exists to help women reconcile to God through His Son, Jesus Christ. Location: The Homestead Steak House on 155 Frank Timberlake Rd, Timberlake, NC. Time: 12:00p (You are encouraged to arrive early)

Hello, it is time for our April CWC Luncheon. We hope everyone had a good Easter. In honor of Easter, we will be holding our Annual Easter Bonnet/Hat Contest. We will have two categories - Prettiest and Most Original.
Our luncheon is at 12:00 noon at the Homestead Steakhouse on Thursday, April 16th. Our speaker will be Shirley Potts, from Chesapeake, Virginia. Her speech is entitled "When Faith Changes Your Life".

Our Feature will be Matt Moore from Rolling Hills Nursery.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday and we hope you bring someone with you. April is National Straw Hat month-just in time for sun protection and our Easter Bonnet/Hat Contest. We look forward to seeing you and new faces.

Hello, it is time for our March CWC Luncheon and our Spring Fundraiser. We are excited to be gathering for March, spring is just around the courner. Our luncheon is at 12:00 noon at the Homestead Steakhouse on Thursday, March 19th. Our speaker will be Ginger Lawrence, from Bruington, Virginia. Her speech is entitled "Deeply Rooted - A US Marine Shares Story".

Our Feature will be our Spring Fundraiser.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday and we hope you bring someone with you. In March, we celebrate International Women's Day and St Patricks's Day. International Women's Day was first celebrated in 1911 and is honored by the colors of purple and green. St Patrick's Day has been celebrated since 1737 in the United States and is typically celebrated by wearing green. We look forward to seeing you and new faces.

Don't forget to bring your items for the fundraiser. We will help you price them, you just need to have an idea in mind of how they should be priced.

Hello everyone, it is time for our February Luncheon. We are excited to be gathering for February already. Our luncheon is at 12:00 noon at the Homestead Steakhouse on Thursday, February 19th. Our speaker will be Shirley Ryder, from Front Royal, Virginia. Her speech is entitled "Enjoying Peace Despite the Difficulties of Life".

Our Feature will be Love Songs by Michael Scarlett and our own Renee Farmer.

The year is quickly drawing to a close and the last Roxboro Christian Women's Club Luncheon of the year is Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 12:00 noon. Our speaker will be Pam Reaves from Florence, South Carolina and her speech is entitled "A Change of Heart".

Our annual Christmas sweater contest will be happening again. It is always fun to see the beautiful and creative sweaters. Just as a reminder, there will be two categories as in the past. There will be a contest for the Prettiest Christmas Sweater and a contest for the Ugliest Sweater. Get creative and bring your best or ugliest Christmas Sweater. It is always a lot of fun.

It is also time for our annual tradition of gift giving to you, a time that we give back to you for all of your support throughout the year. It will be another great day and we hope that you can come. Please bring a friend and for the last time this year, please bring your name tag.

Hello, it is time for our November luncheon and we are excited about another great day. Our luncheon is at 12:00 noon at the Homestead Steakhouse on Thursday, November13th. Our speaker this month will be Daniel Byrne, from Beaufort, South Carolina. In honor of Veterans Day and to honor first responders, Daniel who is both will be our speaker. His speech is entitled “The Great Commission in a Fallen World”. We are also inviting spouses, sons and friends who might be interested in attending and hearing Daniel's testimony. Our male guests will pay $12.00 at the door, not the normal price that our members pay as they don't belong to Stonecroft.

Our Feature will be Blake Whitt, Fire Chief of Hurdle Mills Volunteer Fire Department.

Our Feature will be a member of our Planning Team, Michele Riggsbee who will demonstrate Bowmaking.

Hello, it is time for our September luncheon and it promises to be a great day. Our luncheon is at 12:00 noon at the Homestead Steakhouse on Thursday, September 18. Our speaker will be Donna Amidon, from Midlothian, Virginia. Her speech is entitled "Rising Above Disappointment".

September is also the month that we have our Annual Fundraiser. We will have items for sale as well as a Bake Sale Silent Auction. This is always a lot of fun and we expect this one to be a great event as well. Please bring your items if you are donating to the sale and if you have a minimum price that you would like your item to sell for, please price them. If you are donating items and don't have a minimum price in mind, you won't need to price them. If you are not donating items, we hope that you will enjoy shopping. We look forward to having a great time.

Hello, another month has rolled around and it is time once again for our Roxboro Christian Women's Club Luncheon. We will be meeting on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 12:00 noon. Our speaker this month will be Kay Beard from Pinebluff, North Carolina. The title of her speech is "The White Flag Story" she will be sharing how to raise her “white Flag” of surrender to find peace. Our feature will be Christopher Herrmann with the Person County Beekeepers Association. It will be another great day and we hope you can join us.

Hello, I hope everyone had a great Independence Day.
It is time again for our Christian Women's Luncheon meeting.
Our meeting will be on July 17, 2025 at 12:00 noon.
Our speaker will be Rhoda Byrd, from Lancaster, South Carolina and her speech is entitled "Perfect Organization for Life!."
Our Feature will be Joanne Argo, President of the Person County Needleworkers, sharing the charitable things that this group does. We hope you can join us for another great day of fellowship and sharing the Word.

Hello, I just wanted to remind everyone of our May Christian Women's Club Luncheon on Thursday May 15, at Homestead Steakhouse at 12:00 noon. Our speaker for this month will be Anna Marie Peterson, from Waxhaw, North Carolina and her speech will be "From Chaos to Serenity".

Our feature will be a fashion show from Russell's Boutique. This has been a really good time in the past.
