When Moses’ hands grew tired, Aaron and Hur stepped in.
Exodus 17:10–13 reminds us that even the strongest leaders need support. Moses was chosen by God, yet there came a moment when he couldn’t hold up his arms alone. Victory came not because Moses was strong enough, but because others were willing to stand beside him.
How often do we try to carry everything by ourselves? Or expect our pastors, teachers, parents, and leaders to do the same?
Sometimes the greatest ministry isn’t leading from the front—it’s standing beside someone and helping them keep their hands raised.
Today, look for someone you can encourage. Send a text. Offer a prayer. Share the load. Your support may be the very thing God uses to help them keep going.
“Aaron and Hur held up his hands… so his hands remained steady till the going down of the sun.” — Exodus 17:12
