This Sunday in Kids Church, we dove into the story of Achan and the battle of Ai—and it hit home in a real way.

After an incredible victory at Jericho, God gave clear instructions… but Achan chose to disobey. Because of that, what should have been an easy win turned into a tough loss for Israel. His story reminds us that our choices matter—and that sin, even when it’s hidden, has real consequences.

But here’s the hope we held onto: if we’re being honest, we’ve all had Achan moments. We’ve all fallen short. Yet instead of giving us the judgment we deserve, Jesus meets us with grace, forgiveness, and a fresh start. 🙌

And we’re not done yet… 👀
This Sunday, the story continues as we see what happens next and how God restores and leads His people forward!

Kids Church Recap** ✨

This week in Kids Church, we have been walking alongside the Israelites as they stepped out of the wilderness and into something new with their new leader, Joshua!

After everything God had brought them through, they stopped to build a stone altar—stacking stones as a reminder of His faithfulness. Each stone represented how God kept His promises, made a way when there seemed to be no way, and never left His people.

Those stones weren’t just for them… they were for future generations to see and ask, *“What did God do here?”*

And the answer? 🙌
**God was faithful. God made a way. God kept His promise.**

💛 The same is true for us today.
Just like the Israelites, we all walk through hard seasons—but God is still leading, still providing, and still faithful.

So when life feels uncertain, we can remember:
👉 If God did it before, He can do it again.
👉 His promises still stand.
👉 We can trust Him every step of the way.

Today in Kids Church we learned that God is our true leader—He goes before us, fights for us, and never leaves us 🙌

Moses pointed the way, but Jesus is our perfect forever leader, leading us into life with Him ✨

And YES—we had so much fun learning it!! 🎉 Lots of laughs, energy, and growing together in faith 💛

Moses’ farewell in Deuteronomy 31 reminds us of something powerful—God is the true leader. He goes before us, fights for us, and never leaves us 🙌

And where Moses’ leadership ended, Jesus steps in as our perfect, forever leader—guiding us into life with Him ✨

🐣✨ Sneak Peek: LWF Kids Easter at Tillamook High-school ✨🐣

This Easter, LWF Kids is sharing the story in a fun, interactive way with our “Easter Story in a Jar”! Kids (ages 4–5th grade) will explore charms representing key moments, from Jesus entering Jerusalem 🌿 to the cross and the empty tomb, and take the jar home to retell the story with family and friends.

Toddlers aren’t left out, we’ve got a safe, age-appropriate version too!

We can’t wait to share the hope of Easter in a way kids can hold, remember, and pass on. 💛

Did we mention there’s an Easter Egg hunt in between services? You’re not going to want to miss it!

✨ LWF Kids Update – God Keeps His Promises!
This week in The Gospel Project, our kids learned about God’s promise to Abram — that through his family, the whole world would be blessed. And God kept that promise by sending Jesus to rescue us! 🙌

Our ministry is growing at such a rapid rate — we had 29 elementary kids this Sunday alone! 🎉 What a blessing!
This growth also means two important things:
1️⃣ We’ll be swapping classrooms to make more space for our growing groups.
2️⃣ We’re praying for more volunteers to join the team so we can continue to minister to these amazing kids effectively.

🌊🐾 What’s been happening in LWF KIDS? 🐾🌊
This week our kids learned:
✨ Sin has consequences, but God rescued Noah because he always tried to do what was right.
🌈 God made a promise never to flood the earth again — and every rainbow reminds us that God ALWAYS keeps His promises.
✝️ God also sent us the greatest rescuer of all — JESUS! When we put our trust in Him, we are saved.
