…Christ Jesus who died--more than that, who was raised to life--is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Romans 8:34
This verse gives me great comfort. Sometimes when the needs are so pressing and the way seems so foggy, I am lost for words. I don’t know what to pray. But before I could ever kneel down to pour out my heart to God, my Saviour has already called out to His Father on my behalf.
Prayer: Dear Jesus, I am humbled and grateful that, after all You have already done for me, You're still interceding for me at God's right hand. This gives me great confidence, comfort, and hope. Thank You Lord, You know my every need and thought, even before I ask. Amen.

"For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love." Philippians 4:6 NLT

Even in the darkest valley, we can still rest in our Shepherd. He does not leave us without protection and comfort during hard times. Lean in to Jesus.

“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭4‬ ‭

☀ Sunday Morning in the Word — The Water That Never Runs Dry

“But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” — John 4:14 (NKJV)

We spend so much of life looking for satisfaction. We hope the next accomplishment, relationship, possession, or experience will finally fill the emptiness inside. Yet before long, we're thirsty again.

Jesus offers something entirely different.

Speaking to the woman at the well, He points beyond physical water to the life only He can give. His grace satisfies the deepest need of the human heart—the need to be reconciled to God. And from that new life comes a continual source of spiritual refreshment.

This doesn't mean we'll never face trials or seasons of weariness. But it does mean that our souls no longer have to search for fulfillment in the things of this world. As we abide in Christ, spending time in His Word, walking in prayer, and yielding to His Spirit, He continually refreshes us with His presence and truth.

The world offers wells that eventually run dry. Christ offers living water that continues to sustain those who belong to Him. As we drink deeply from His Word and remain close to Him, He shapes our hearts, strengthens our faith, and makes us more and more like Himself.
