Who decided what books belong in the Bible?

Did Emperor Constantine create the Bible?

That claim is often made, but the historical evidence tells a very different story.

Contrary to popular conspiracy theories, the biblical canon was not invented by Constantine or chosen by a single church council. The New Testament emerged gradually as early Christians copied, shared, read, and preserved writings connected to the apostles.

I created this short video with Notebook LM to explore how the canon actually developed—and why certain books came to be recognized as Scripture by the early church.

The ascension of Jesus is far more than the ending of the Gospel story.

In this video, we explore why the New Testament presents the ascension as Christ’s public enthronement—his present reign at the right hand of God over the cosmos and the church.

What does it mean that a human being now reigns from the divine throne? And why does the ascension still matter for Christian worship, loyalty, and hope today?

Watch the video and join the conversation.

Was slavery in Bible times really “not that bad”?

That claim gets repeated often—but it doesn’t hold up.

I created a short video using Notebook LM to explore the harsh realities of ancient slavery by comparing the lives of two enslaved individuals - Onesimus and Zoilos. It’s a sobering look at a system that has always been deeply dehumanizing.
