Today's Obituary:

Patricia Ann Shatzer, 79, of Tiffin and formerly of Bloomville, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Gaymont Nursing Center in Norwalk.

Pat was born on December 31, 1945 in Willard, to the late Richard B. and Eunice (Neikirk) Love.

Survivors include her daughter, Amy (Tom) Hackney of Greenwich, two sons, Don (Wendy) Carrick of Attica and Dr. Scott (Dr. Chrissy) Carrick of Leroy, NY, eight grandchildren, Brenda (Matt) Neuhart, Clint (Melissa) Hackney, Kyle (Emily) Hackney, Todd Hackney, Brandon Carrick, Austin Carrick, Colton (Haley) Carrick, and Kourtney (Kylin) Elswick, nine great-grandchildren, and a brother, James (Kathy) Love of Attica.

Pat worked as a Tiffin City Bus Driver and was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ. She was also a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 189 and a 1963 graduate of Attica High School.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Linda Lutz.

There will be a Celebration of Patricia’s life held at a later date at Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville. Burial will be held at Attica Venice cemetery.
