COVERED IN PRAYER | WEEK FOUR

We’ve prayed for our Pastor Search Committee. We’ve prayed for the pastor God has chosen. We’ve prayed for his family.

This week, we’re praying for discernment and God’s direction.

A pastor search isn’t simply about finding someone who looks right on paper. It’s about seeking the person God has chosen to lead Buffalo Creek.

So this week, pray for clarity.

Pray that God opens the doors that are His—and firmly closes the ones that aren’t.
Pray for wisdom when choices need to be made.
Pray for unity among our Search Committee and church leadership.
Pray that personal preferences never become louder than God’s direction.
Pray for patience if His answer is wait and courage when His answer is go.

And above all, pray that we don’t get ahead of God simply because we’re ready for an answer.

We aren’t searching for just any pastor. We’re waiting for the one God has for Buffalo Creek.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12
10:00 AM — DOTS Women’s Ministry Meeting
Daughters of the Savior will meet for fellowship, a devotional by Amber Hill, and prayer for our church and Pastor Search.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Our shoebox collection is underway! This year, we’d love for our BCBC kids to fill & ship their own boxes! There is a black donation bin in the Fellowship Area for school supplies, hygiene products, and small toys.

COVERED IN PRAYER | WEEK THREE

We’ve prayed for our Pastor Search Committee. We’ve prayed for the pastor God has chosen. This week, we’re widening that circle of prayer to include his family.

A call to a new church doesn’t affect just one person. Behind the pastor God is preparing may be a family preparing for change too—possibly leaving familiar places, relationships, routines, schools, jobs, and a community they love.

This week, pray for the family God may be preparing for Buffalo Creek.

Pray for peace in the unknown.
Pray for unity as they seek God’s direction together.
Pray for strength and protection during a season of transition.
Pray that each member of the family feels loved, supported, and confident in where God is leading.

And pray that when the time comes, Buffalo Creek will be ready to love and welcome not only our new pastor, but the people he loves most.

We may not know who they are yet.

But God does. And so we can pray for them now.
