Thank you to everyone who came out for the Parish Picnic for Sacred Heart, Our Lady of Lourdes, and St. Mary’s! It was a wonderful afternoon with so many friends and laughs. Sister Sharon was honored and the Knights of Columbus #333 did an amazing job with the food, hosting the event, and giving Sister a very generous gift. Wendy Shaw was a great hostess and even baked a couple of cakes for dessert! We are blessed to have such a great group that supports our church unconditionally. We were happy with the turnout and felt very blessed to see so many friends!

This weekend just keeps on giving!!!! Tonight we celebrated Sister Sharon’s 40th Anniversary of service to our Parish and community. Sister is such an important part of our community. Karlene Gonyeau spoke about Sister’s strength, love, faith, humor, service, and gifts she has shared with so many. It was a beautiful tribute. Sister Sharon said as long as she has her good health and her mind, she “will die with her boots on in Ticonderoga”! We look forward to many, many more years of enjoying Sister Sharon’s guidance and joy in our community! (We also welcomed a new Altar Server, Henry - we welcomed Father Michelet back - had the Children’s Choir and Folk Group singing- and congratulated Noah Wells on his accomplishments on the golf course. God is so good in so many ways!!!)

St. Mary’s had a lovely Mass this morning and we welcomed a new member to the Church! Hailey was Baptized and then received the Sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation. Hailey will be leaving Ticonderoga soon to join the U.S. Navy. We are grateful for her service and commitment to our country and thrilled to welcome her to the Faith! God Bless You, Hailey!

Join us tomorrow, (Saturday) at the St. Mary’s Mass at 4 PM to celebrate Sister Sharon - she has been in Ticonderoga serving our Parish, School, Families, and Children for 40 years!!!! You are also invited to our Three-Parish picnic on Sunday to celebrate St. Mary’s, Sacred Heart, and Our Lady of Lourdes Churches and Sister Sharon’s 40th Anniversary in our community! The picnic will be at the Ticonderoga Knights of Columbus starting at 2:00 PM. There will be lots of friends, fun, memories, and love to share! We hope to see you there!

It’s such an exciting weekend at St. Mary’s! We are celebrating Sister Sharon’s 40th Anniversary of moving to Ticonderoga to serve our Parish, School, and Community. Our 4:00 PM Mass on Saturday, August 15th, will be offered in Thanksgiving for Sister Sharon. Please join us for special prayers and songs in her honor. On Sunday, August 16th, the celebration continues at the Knights of Columbus in Ticonderoga at 2:00PM! All three of our Parishes will be combining for a picnic that will include lots of fun, fellowship, friendship, and of course celebrating our Parishes and Sister Sharon. Our goal is to celebrate Sister with the number 40: hopefully 40 cards will be given, 40+ people will show up, 40 prayers will be offered, and 40+ hugs will be shared! See you this weekend!!!!!

ALL PARISHIONERS OF OUR LADY OF LOURDES, SACRED HEART AND ST. MARY’S ARE INVITED!!!!!! Please join us on Sunday, August 16th at 2:00 PM at the Ticonderoga Knights of Columbus for the combined Parish Picnic for the three churches of the Southern Adirondack Catholics. The picnic will be held in the Pavilion of the K of C, but indoor dining will be available. There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, and salads. This is all FREE to our Parish families! There will be a cash bar available - join us for this fun, family event. ALL ARE WELCOME!
