✨ From Bucharest to Budapest: A Journey Through History, Heritage & Community ✨
What an unforgettable experience traveling with members of our congregation and Rabbi Steinberg through the heart of Romania and Hungary.
From the vibrant streets of Bucharest and the medieval charm of Brașov, to the storybook beauty of Sibiu and the cultural energy of Cluj-Napoca, we explored centuries of history, resilience, and Jewish life. In Sighetu Marmației, the birthplace of Elie Wiesel, we reflected on memory and responsibility. In the stunning Art Nouveau city of Oradea, we celebrated the richness of Jewish heritage, before concluding our journey in magnificent Budapest, where Jewish history and contemporary life continue to thrive.
Along the way, we shared meaningful conversations, Shabbat moments, laughter, learning, and new friendships. These experiences remind us that travel is not only about discovering places—it is about deepening our connection to one another, our history, and our shared future.
Thank you to everyone who joined this remarkable journey. The memories we created together will stay with us for years to come.
