Peggy Brown, beloved long-time member and Sunday school teacher of 28 years, passed on to heaven April 21, 2026. Her Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday April 26, 2026, at First Methodist Church Throckmorton. A lunch for the family will be noon Sunday in the fellowship hall. Sides and desserts can be dropped off Sunday morning, meat has been provided. Peggy shared her faith by the life she lived every day. We are praying for the Brown Family and celebrate that Peggy is with her Lord and Savior.

We will NOT be having Church Breakfast for Supper this week (4-21). We have several church members nominated for community awards who will be recognized at the Chamber Banquet Tuesday night . We are grateful for a Chamber of Commerce who supports our community and all of the wonderful community members who give of their time and resources. Congratulations to all of the nominees.
