Did you know June 18 is International Picnic Day? Well, we got a head start!

Last Sunday looked a little different... worshiping and picnicking outside in a rainstorm! We're not a fair-weather flock. ☔🐑

After worship, we shared a potluck picnic and enjoyed being together despite the weather. Maria shared a heartfelt message about God's timing not always matching our timing, trusting God's plans over our own, and leaning on prayer, faith, and the guidance of others along the way.

There was plenty of delicious food, lots of laughter, and even a heated pool that the youth happily enjoyed!

We’re grateful for everyone who attended, brought food, helped set up, cleaned up, and worked behind the scenes to make the day possible!!

What a great reminder that church isn't just a place we go—it's a community we share.

When we read the miracle stories of Jesus, we can get caught up in the details. But maybe the bigger question is: What does this tell us about Jesus?

Again and again in Scripture, when Jesus encounters people who are hurting, struggling, afraid, or in need, something good happens. Lives change. Hope is restored. Healing begins.

Maybe that's the reminder we need this week: healing doesn't always happen on our timetable, and we don't have to go through life's storms alone. Jesus still meets people where they are.

What a Sunday morning! 💛

A special shout-out to ALL the youth and young adults who helped lead Youth Sunday Worship. Whether you greeted people at the door and helped them feel welcome, served in the tech booth so we could see and hear clearly, played in the band, sang, creatively shared announcements, offered thoughtful reflections, or led us in prayer—you made a difference.

Every role mattered. Every contribution helped create a meaningful morning of worship.

One of the highlights was Daisy's message from the book of Job. She reminded us that the same God who is with us in life's celebrations is also with us in our struggles. Even when life is hard, we can continue to trust God, share God's love with others, and remind people that they are loved. Through her honesty and courage, Daisy encouraged us to look for opportunities—big and small—to be a reflection of hope and encouragement in someone else's life.

Thank you for using your gifts, sharing your faith, and reminding us that the church is strongest when everyone has a part to play. It all counts. It all matters. And together, you helped create a glimpse of God's love.
