A covenant can be understood as a number of things, one of which is an agreement. A meeting of two people together to make an exchange.

For us, Sabbath is a covenant in that we come together with God to exchange relational intimacy. We can do that also with those that we spend Sabbath together with.

But we know Biblically speaking, that God always fulfills the covenant. It was God, in fact, that established it. God is always the one to establish a covenant and make a promise. And He’s always the one to keep it!

God is extending the Sabbath covenant as an expression and exchange of His love from Him to you - will you accept it, and pass it on?
