Never Too Far Gone

The story of C. I. Scofield reminds us that no one is beyond the reach of God’s grace. Scofield struggled deeply with alcohol, but when he surrendered fully to God, the Lord took the alcohol from him. His deliverance was not by human effort or religious rules—it was the power of God at work. Scofield’s life stands as a testimony that God can and does deliver us from sin.

“Let it be known to you therefore… that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law.”
— Acts 13:38–39 (ESV)

Chuck Stecker Challenge:

Chuck reminds us that Scofield’s story is not just history—it’s personal. Chuck shares that he was Scofield with alcohol, and just like Scofield, God delivered him miraculously. His challenge is direct and hope-filled:
👉 What is the addiction or sin that God wants to—and can—deliver you from?

Freedom doesn’t come from trying harder; it comes from surrendering fully to God’s power.

Reflection:
1️⃣ What sin or habit have you believed puts you beyond God’s reach?
2️⃣ Where do you need to stop relying on your own strength and fully surrender to God’s power?

You are never too far gone. Grace still reaches. Freedom is still possible.

Led Into a Tight Spot

The story of C. T. Studd reminds us that obedience to God does not always lead to comfort—it often leads to surrender. Studd willingly gave up wealth, security, and recognition to follow Jesus as a missionary. He trusted God even when obedience led him into difficult and uncomfortable places, believing that God’s strength would sustain him.

“This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles.”
— Psalm 34:6

Chad Stecker Challenge:

Chad reminds us that when God leads us into a tight spot, it doesn’t mean He has abandoned us—it means He is inviting us to depend on Him more deeply. God has our back, and His strength will sustain us.

Chad challenges us to gain a mindset that says:
👉 I will bring comfort to others even when the pain is difficult.

God often uses tight places to shape strong faith and compassionate hearts.

Reflection:
1️⃣ How do you usually respond when obedience to God leads to discomfort or risk?
2️⃣ What “tight spot” might God be using right now to grow your faith and dependence on Him?

When God leads you into a tight spot, trust that He is still holding you up.

When Your Limits Become Your Strength

The story of Richie Parker reminds us that what we often label as limitations are not accidents. Richie had to come to a life-shaping realization: God did not make a mistake when He created him. What made him different was not something to fight against, but something God intended to use. When Richie stopped resisting God’s design and trusted His plan, weakness became the place where God’s strength was revealed.

“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
2 Cor 12:9

Pastor Mike starts with a question. Do you like who you are? Do you like who God created you to be, the things that make you different? Richie had to derterminr that God did not make a mistake when he created him
